I've vented my spleen on Amazon who delivered a pack of medical gauze with the tasteful addition of a tear exposing 90% of them... they asked me to return them... as if with the nasty cocktail of bacteria that I have would be a valuable addition to whomever uses it to treat someone else... I have been on half a cycle ride in the sun. Now I am in a pub garden about to eat all the blue cheese. Fortunately I barely used the battery on the way here, so the cycle home should be easy, even after a beery lunch.

Evening
Top result for City in the fitba tonight, and a dreadful result for City. Dog was most confused by the background stadium roar during evening walkies.
OTTM - Got gaming PC back from the rozzers.... they have managed to completely brick it. Primary HDD disconnected, and when I reassembled it, the bios refuses to even recognise it as valid media. Can't run fschk or chkdsk from windows cd. Boot sector is fucked. Can't reinstall windows. Can't create a new partition. Have taken it to a local specialist to recover what they can, and chuck in a new SSD. More expense.
Also got back 2 ancient laptops so spent a few hours trying to get them to run even a lowest res version of elite, but neither is up to even running the shader setup needed.
The fucker who put me in this position will indeed rue the day.
