Take me to Timeline Alpha. For the love of all that is good and decent. Y’all know me. Know what I do. I’ll Slide three of you over to Alpha, but it ain’t gonna be easy. Bad crossing. Not like going down to the pond and chasing bluegills and tommycocks. This timeline, swallow you whole. No shakin’, no tenderizin’, down you go. And we gotta do it quick, the window is closing. But it’s not gonna be pleasant. I value my neck a lot more than fifteen hundred pounds, chief. I’ll show you the window for fifteen, but I’ll take you and two of your internet friends for fifteen and that special photo. But you’ve gotta make up your minds. If you want to stay alive, then ante up. If you want to play it cheap, see what’s coming this winter and the next...well...

As we say over here: plus ça change, plus c'est la même merde; only once Brexit is done, we'll have to present our papers and say it very slowly and very loudly. On the bright side, we will have left the Shenguin area

I'm not paying that to park in the Alpha multi-storey.

Went to get paper, so what better thing to listen to other than a 14 minute drum solo by Ginger Baker from the live half of "Wheels of Fire"?

Went to get paper, so what better thing to listen to other than a 14 minute drum solo by Ginger Baker from the live half of "Wheels of Fire"? My essential Saturday morning listening: (5.20 - Shipping forecast, then doze/sleep through Four Thought, News, Ramblings, Farming Today, sleep until)Radio 4: 9-10.30: Saturday Live (with the irReverend Richard Coles) 10.30-11.00: The Kitchen Cabinet Radio 5: 11.00-11.30 (to pass the time until) Radio 4: From Our Own Correspondent

Not to belittle the generosity of sockpuppetpseudonym's rescue offer, but his cavalier attitude to the pond ecosystem is alarming. Letting the tommycocks run riot would make Brexit look like a fucking picnic.

I want this woman as our leader; not everything she does is wonderful, but she is so much better than any of the actual or potential Prime Ministers in this country ... /edit: ... and I would normally listen to the sport on 5 live, but my tolerance for "What a pity there's no spectators", "It's not the same without spectators..." has reached the screaming and ranting at Alexa stage... That's the best incoherent rage gif I can find, atm. I just wish it didn't remind me so much of the results of yesterday's mega-morphine intake. btw they took swabs yesterday so I hope to get antibiotics to lose the infection before I lose the leg 🦵)

Hello you lot.
This morning, we walked down to the local shops - partner and boy split off to get him some shoes, while I visited the local library to do a book-swap.
Gamesblog: a spot of, you guessed it, Skyrim. Aurtherian quest done.
TVblog: first episode of the new series of Disco. Probably the right thing to do, shooting it into the far future - no rubbing up against previous lore, free to make their own choices. Reader, I enjoyed it.

Look at this:
I didn't know this was a thing. I have no memory of Nelson Mandela dying in prison.
Inter-dimensional entanglement all over the wazoo.

I'd guess Marilyn Monroe. <edit>I was wrong. Yes, yes you were. But they do belong to a she. That it is black and white gives a clue as to when it's taken on the β timeline. Tuffers - no banana, even with his daily routine and his wardollyskills Melvazord cannot get rid of all that hair..

Morning,
TV. More unbelievable. Games. More Ghost Recon.
Cheese and Tuna toasted flatbreads for lunch. About to make Ragu for the freezer and burgers for dinner.
The child is going to play Roblox with her cousin. She had a shot of fall guys last night on the PS4 as I suggested it was like a Roblox 'obby' - she found it frustrating as folk kept knocking her down/off. A lesson in life right there.

Hello.
Games: no.
Tv: no.
Ottm: I was on zoom booze last night and realised halfway through that with one of the guys on the call I have no idea what he does for a living, though I've known him since primary school. I wonder if he does something top secret he can't talk about, or if perhaps I am just a shit friend?

They're not mutually exclusive.
Edit: although it seems unlikely you'd know anyone with a job that cool.

The Mandela Effect was proved to be a result of the many quantum worlds theory in the early 2000s, but weirdly I can't find any reference to that online.

Messed up the burgers. Blitzed the breadcrumbs with the shallot and it all clumpy.
Amateur hour stuff.
