So far this weekend I have claimed three free PC games;
Dead Space (via Origin) Dungeons 2 (via GoG), and Civ IV Complete Edition (via Twitch Prime)
Because I could.

A few people over at the other place seem to think quite highly of Dead Space. I didn't get very far with it as my xbox broke, but the little I did play was promising. Games chat

I was pleased to see that it works with my wired Xbox 360 controller. I think I'd struggle with the keyboard controls.

Dead Space is OK, the Origin program needed to play on the PC is utter annoying shite though. I actually uninstalled it after a while, the bloody thing pissed me off that much.
I reckon Groves will win on points with Eubank taking the early rounds.
Watched Gods of Egypt, middling film but there's an actress with tits like space hoppers. 4 stars.

I went eubank in 7 or 8. £2 because I'm very confident.

Today the grandchildren (and their parents) came for a visit. Nothing like a 4-year old and a one-year old who's just started walking and is therefore into exploration to keep you on your toes. After waving them goodbye we shut the door firmly with a sigh of relief and started picking up most of the content of the house from the floor. Therefore no games, no television; just stuffing dishes into the dishwasher, telling the cat that it will be alright and pouring a large whisky.
Looks like our fragile electricity supply got a bit of a knock in the early afternoon from the Swansea earthquake; it set off some neighbouring alarms but not our own. Anybody else noticed it? It wasn't as strong as the one some years ago with the epicentre near Dudley which had us and the neighbours running into the street at one o'clock in the morning.
Or did the maligned Alex make the earth move for us?

Blade Runner was brilliant.
Spoilers.
The ending with Roy becoming human then dying. Brilliant.

Hello. I am making minestrone while Mrs Crank and the child are swimming.
Games: none due to being out last night. Hopefully some gta/bf1 this evening.
Gig: Good fun. Ears still a wee bit fecked tho. Must remember earplugs next time.
Food: Pan Asian place. As reported the cheeseburger spring rolls were good, as was the nasi goreng. That's probably not how you spell it.

The Guardian do not like you pointing out that Stewart Lee constantly mentioning liking chicken and possibly commiting crime, when talking about a black comedian, could be seen as a bit racist.

It is sunny outside but I have been playing Scary Pixels on my laptop while my wife watches Taggart. It works well with my wired 360 controller.
Later I shall be cooking a Chicken Pilaf.
