You're all watching Blake's 7 aren't you? Nope. I'm doing housework + sorting shopping lists + 'watching' Corner Gas (on in the background) + keeping on top of 2 NP2 games. Particularly difficult with one ally who I am sooo tempted to offer him tenthenemy millinery services ... I imagine him like this Here's some of the stuff he has been writing after my letting him know how my illnesses affect my gaming and afk periods "Wi-fi is deadly, and I became EMF sensitive a couple years ago. I'm only alive right now because I had the wi-fi removed, and the ethernet cables I have are in the office... where there are other people working and don't like being interrupted regularly.
We [sic] are so sorry to hear of your reliance upon pharmacos. They will only continue to maim and destroy you of all your financial value. We suggest, should you desire ultimate solace, to take any vaccine offered. It will guarantee your condition will worsen.
Begin researching alternate medicine and the dangers of the modern western "medicine" "practice". It may be you are one of those who is capable of enlightening your pool of knowledge.
Otherwise, be happy with suffering, that is our advice. We ourselves cannot..."
Obviously one sandwich short of a picnic and very difficult to message without sliding in some sarcastic asides. Like 'is my pool of knowledge the same as the gene pool.'

Morning all. Admin I see you’ve caught me without my makeup on. Gamesblog: no. TVblog: Bake Off. I then wanted to watch the third episode of Blake’s 7, but turns out that it doesn’t exist on YouTube. Looks like I’m going to have to get the DVDs. You’re a good man, Destry. And thorough.

I'm on YouTube Premium, so I am not sure whether everyone has access to Google Music (which appears to be currently free to me), but if you've got a decent PC audio setup* you may well be astonished at the difference in quality! Light years better than the 1080p setting!
*and possibly broadband speed

ChumblesA mate of mine got fed up with YouTube adverts. But he balked at the UK price for Premium. So he used a VPN and visited the Indian site, then bought it from there. Ended up being something like a fiver a year...

It's the audio bitrate not the video picture definition that matters for sound quality ...
Google music's bit rate is up to 320 KB/S. That is the same as a good quality MP3 and is ok to listen to. The sound quality may be better than MP3 as encoding has got better over the last few years.
YouTube is limited to 192 KBS. This isn't generally good enough. It produces a thin sound that is very audibly deficient compared to a CD or similar. It's sort of ok to listen to for short periods

We have torrential rain here, with thunder and lightning. I'm listening to Oxygene (part 4) on the cans whilst admiring the spectacle through the window.
Superb.

Kinda sunny here, much unlike my face etc.
Brie and bacon melt affair, using 2 crusts and half a wedge of fromage from back of fridge. Feeling a bit greasy now, and thinking I should have checked the use-by.

I am very angry. You all know how perilously close to losing my left leg - I have had gangrene appear twice and a couple of infections, all of which turn painful ulcers into agony. Back in 2018 the Vascular surgeon recommended that I should have an Ablation procedure. Since then, with cock-ups and no shows, equipment failure I had close to a dozen appointments before the appointment was booked for 26th March. On 23rd March the Covid-19 lockdown fucked that. I have subsequently been assured that when operations recommenced that I would be the first. I'm still waiting, but I have just received a letter from the Clinical Prioritization Team. It asks: 1. Do I wish to be removed from the list 2. Do I wish to be removed from the list because of the risks of getting Covid-19 in hospital 3. Do I intend to delay treatment for non Covid-19 reasons. Paraphrase/ Call us if yes to the above, otherwise fuck off and wait for us to call. When they call they will try and find a way to remove me from the operations list. /End Paraphrase It's fucking insane; nothing about them contacting the Vascular surgeon who made the clinical assessment that I needed the op. Nope. They are effectively going to call me to ask me to justify why I need the treatment. Un-bloody-believable.

Jesus, I was reviewing my lists this morning, and I realise that really annoying patient has snuck back on. I haven't got time for all this shit; I need to get back into DS3. I can never be bothered to read all the notes on his case, I start to, and then my eyes just glaze over. I'll probably bump his surgery and just prescribe penicillin instead, I guess that should fix it.

Hi
That sucks Chumbles. One my mates needs a bypass and the date for his surgery was given a proper plumbers time frame; any time between 4 weeks and 3 months. Good luck planning your life around that.
Still, think of all the sweet pirate roles you'll get at the local am-dram. Long John Silver a shoo in.
Games: Jesus Stellaris is deep. I started playing at 19:00, blinked and it was 23:30.
4 stars.
