That header is just superb. Excellent work. Earlier this morning the builders showed up and removed the scaffolding from my house. They didn't stop to talk to me, so there's a possibility that Wide Andy (because, naturally, his name is Andy, not Bob Cratchit) could still come along later and attempt to extract more money. It's either that or Rishi Sunak's got wind of the whole enterprise. Speaking of money-grabbing exercises, like every year I'm promoting Andrew Eisen's Extra Life charity event for Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. Every donation goes in full to the hospital that is providing non-profit, free pediatric care in a country with a shitty healthcare system. This year Andrew is attempting to raise $2,000 by streaming a 25-hours video game marathon this very weekend. NP UPDATE: hours 683 days 28 and a half Sit rep:
14 players survive, 50 players deceased.
Managed to avert total galactic takeover by the Western Scum (Eastern Scum are now on my side I think, or I am on theirs). But the heroic game defining action on my part cost me a fair chunk of my SCI and some sweet fat stars. So I have slipped from 1st place to second, for now. My Diplomatic black ops have led to my nearest neighbour to have a bit of a meltdown and they will soon either launch a suicidal mutually damaging attack on me or hand over all their stars without a fight depending on which part of their psyche crumbles first. I miss the pub. |
