Helluva cast list in that one, Tids. I am hoping that Katja's album will be out soon; I love Faun's music ... she's the lead vocal in this one

Yesterday was her day ... I learned to play this sufficiently well in early twenties to convince my teenage sister-in-law that she was listening to the radio... (I still can't quite believe it.)

Euzen have a new album out soon; Maria Franz has a unique talent and she is getting better and better.

This is doubly brilliant; Sina is on her way to becoming a drum goddess; but the analysis and pinpointing of Ringo's brilliance as a drummer is brought out beautifully.

amipal won't like this; it's got French in it. But it's a very effective earworm and I really liked it.

Listened to George Ezra's music for ages; I hadn't a clue he wasn't black and american!

This is Bert Jansch, John Renbourne, Jacqui McShee, Danny Thompson, and Terry Cox = Pentangle. It’s “Light Flight” a single from their the 1969 album Basket of Light. One of 3 cassette tapes I still own and the reason I still have a cassette player (admittedly a Denon beastie). Jacqui McShee wrote this; really underrated... it's as much jazz as folk and in folk clubs this album was butchered in the copying many, many times in the early 70s.

I highlighted Bert Jansch and John Renbourne because they were the guys who inspired me to try to go the folk guitar route. Bert in particular made me realise that clawhammer was the technique that would help me impose rhythm on my inchoate playing. RIP, guys

They do a whole load of covers - their Hallelujah is excellent and McKenna's voice is phenomenal for a 16y old; I rarely like musicals, but I loved both Sister Acts - Whoopi Goldberg is a very special lady...
