I just checked Amazon ... £1,358.74 from ONE seller on Amazon for the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 OC Edition 10GB GDDR6X... although some at £740-£850I don't think my new PC will be with me before Xmas ;/ |

I seem to be the only idiot not to do any pumpkin farming over Halloween and now it’s thanksgiving and that chef wants pumpkins from me! I need an emergency island visit! Oh dear, I've been busy with other stuff so I've only just seen this! I should be online in an hour or so, I have plenty of pumpkins, can I also visit your island in return and sell some turnips? I've only found out that I've got a decreasing pattern this week, there's got to be a better price than 66 Bells somewhere, I just want to get rid of them with minimum loss. I’m out doing actual work at the moment - but will be home by 4pm? Happy to open the island then. |

silcox Games chat. What is your favourite Apex loadout? I have been in a long Bloodhound phase. However, after watching a guy on YouTube do 20 kills with Horizon, I have switched to her. I enjoy murdering with the Hemlock and the Triple Take. I'm using Rampart as I like her big gun. I do like the flatline/mastiff combo. Hemlock/R99 is good as well though I need to get Horizon pronto |

On the big new map, sniper is worth it - I find Triple Take is the easiest. I am trying to work out which is the best close range gun if you are crap at shooting games. R99 is too volatile due to fire rate. Mastiff takes too long to reload if you miss. I think maybe RE45 and Flatline are the most forgiving all rounders for the hard of shooting. Havoc and Spitfire seem like they should be good but hardly anyone seems to use them, which makes me suspicious. P2020 with the hammerpoint mod is surprisingly good.

Havoc is OK, if I remember rightly though you need to have your cross hair on the target when you unleash otherwise in my experience you tend to miss every bullet. The spitfire is an old favourite of mine but I am trying to avoid using it now as it is the worst gun in the game in allowing side movement once in scope. Try for yourself - go to ADS next time you have one and try to strafe side to side and you will move far more slowly compared to the other guns. For this reason a lot of the better players avoid it, but it is a sold rookie gun not least because of the magazine size. The snipers are fun to use, but a more boring feature of the game are the long range sniper battles where everyone just heals after taking a hit and no one seems to win. Thinking about I don't think I have outright killed more than 2 or 3 players with a sniper despite hitting loads of times. |
