The child is away to the park as it her pal from schools birthday. Absolutely freezing out. Glad it's the wee pals mum on duty.

Morning Rubbish weather today. Luckily I am not leaving the house. Lovely weather here today. Beautiful sunshine, a light and warm breeze... it’s like a Scottish summer*! *I’ve realised I’ve gone wrong here. A Scottish summer is still damp isn’t it? The main rainfall split in Britain is east-west, not north-south. Dundee and Edinburgh have considerably lower rainfall than Manchester or Liverpool, despite being much further north. In other words you are a grotesquely ugly freak and you are wrong. If on the other hand you'd said that it's fucking freezing up here and rammed full of curmudgeonly alcoholics, I'd have had to agree. |

I lived in Bristol for 4 years.
It rains quite a lot there. Especially in the Autumn.
Also in the winter, spring and Summer.
The weather sweeps across the Atlantic and up the Bristol channel.
The wettest I have ever been (outside of baths) was at a football match in Bristol in November 1993.
30 minutes walk there, 2 hours on an open terrace, 30 minutes walk back. I was properly soaked through. It absolutely pissed it down the entire time. And not amused.
Blues were utterly abysmal. I think we had two shots off target in the whole game. And properly off target, not flashed narrowly wide.
We lost 3-0. Fucking Wayne Allason hatrick.
Unlike Manchester, Bristol also has lots of nice sunny weather.

Aberdeen is all a bit 50 Shades of Grey.
The slate grey skies and granite really offset your skin colour nicely.

Today's weather has been foggy, cold and wet. Not quite as bad as the Metro Exodus header suggests, though. Still, I'm mainly running on hot cocoa.
Beef stroganoff and pasta for dinner.
Off to a K.K. Slider concert. I now have all of his records, including the secret songs, so they've become decorative items.
TV: More of His Dark Materials.
My new wireless earphones are great. The Bluetooth connectivity is superior, they synch with everything so quickly, phone, laptop, and console. Because they've got no connection cable they also don't get entangled in my lockdown hair.

I hope everyone is staying covid safe*
I had some beautiful British Pork barbecue ribs with honey glaze sauce that I made into a gravy with a veg stock cube and Bisto. Buttered new potatoes and green beans with peas. I stopped short of licking the plate clean.
I've been in pain all day with my back problem but I did manage to get out up the road for a small shop, surprisingly not many people wearing masks.
*yes this includes you
weather was quite dry but definitely winter cold, (my neighbour says it's actually snowing in Morocco) so it's time to get new thermals from your man Jeff.
(hopefully not his worn once cast offs).

Desmonds! Got the blessed mace in 5-1 finally. Then smashed some skellingtons and levelled up a bunch. Which one is it that make soul arrow more powerful? I'm guessing magic?
Now I need some better armour. Got a nice blue knight cuirass but I'm in the market for some greaves and snazzy leggings.
Tried 1-2 and got banged by some dogs. bad business.
Spiderman - Miles or original? I found the original had too much faffing around, whereas Miles cuts that out.
