A lot of Cornwall chat last night. Where did the secret seven go when they went? I want to visit there. Or was it the famous five?
Morning! Games. Wee bit of the swindle on the train and some more GTA. Got about $1m worth of cars in the warehouse and was restocking the bunker/coke/weed as they are doing bonuses on biker gang sales that I hope to do tonight. 2nd job you say...

shenguin being helpful? End time.
He's a good man, and thorough.
Morning all! Played some Fallout 4 last night, some trappers met the fiery end of my plasma rifle. About five minutes before I switched the PlayStation off, I realised the TV wasn't in Game mode. Rookie move.

Some bloke called Dave hacked my account while I was changing my pissed-in trousers.

I've only ever had the tv in game mode by accident. Does it help? Will it improve my reflexes?

No, but talking about it will improve your enunciation.

Cornwall chat: if you go to the Tate in St Ives I recommend the following:
Make sure you're either incredibly hung over or still pissed from the night before. Start watching a video installation about 10 years in the life of a boulder in a stream. Realise you're about to be sick; get up to search for a bog. Get tutted at by an old posh looking couple, who assume you're walking out because you don't know nuffink about art. Abort toilet finding mission in order to start a row with them. (Calling them pretentious cunts is optional) Realise the situation has become desperate. Run outside but don't make it in time. Puke on floor. Wait 10 minutes, then watch posh couple nodding at the profound artistic significance of the cleaners mop & bucket

I've only ever had the tv in game mode by accident. Does it help? Will it improve my reflexes? Game mode on my TV removes any of the special gubbinz that Sony use to mess with the image. So MotionFlow (where they interpolate frames to make video sickeningly jerky), Auto Contrast (where blacks go incredibly black if there's any brightness in the scene, and means you can see nothing), and noise reduction (not needed as you want a clean image from your game station). All of the above probably have an impact on response rate, so anything you can do to improve that the better.

Good morning
Games chat!
I've bought a few games recently and am working through them with varying degrees of success and interest:
- Resident Evil 7 - starts well, properly scary but loses a bit of it's edge once you get armed to the teeth. Boss fights are annoying. - Persona 5 - never played one of these before. Pretty sure I'm still in the tutorial phase (after several hours). Weird. I hope it gets good soon. - Ghost Recon Wildlands - hot garbage. Sold on ebay after half an hour. - Battlefront 2 - campaign ok, multiplayer god awful
I keep going back to Overwatch, which is i) the best multiplayer game ever, and ii) tied for the best ps4 game with Bloodborne. Come get yer armour!

I keep going back to Overwatch, Is the free for all multiplayer any good or do you just do the team based stuff? Also, Looe in Cornwall seems nice.

Games Mode vs non Games Mode
If you are playing beat em ups or twitch shooters you might notice the difference.
For everything else you probably won't even know if you are in games mode or not.
My TV is in games mode for the PS4 HDMI. Or at least that is what I set it to.
Mostly I just turned down the colour and contrast and brightness options until faces stopped looking like Donald Trump.
I also turned off or set to low all the motionflow stuff for general use.
I did try the live football mode once. Apart from eyeball shattering levels of brightness and contrast it did something very strange that made everything look over processed and slightly jerky.

The spinning bullet cut-scene is a thing of wonder.

I just had a phone call informing me that a reference in support for an application needs to be in by noon. This noon.
Why are they doing this? Who's supposed to believe that anyone is already processing these things after lunch? After lunch people are processing lunch, not applications.
I'll be back later. I've never been to Cornwall, so I haven't much to add. I like Daphne du Maurier, Cornish pasties and cream teas if that's any help.

And to think I offered you tips on how to survive in Preston. If you do go to the Forest of Bowland you need to leave a marked path so you can find your way out. I suggest white bread makes an ideal marker. Stones will be too heavy for you to carry.
Also if anything my face looks underprocessed, Standard definition. Definitely not 4K.

Surely its easy to fake having experience of organising and services meetings. It's not that easy, you have people going over their allocated time causing you to re-jig the agenda as you go, equipment to setup, notes/minutes to take, as well as actually paying attention to contribute to detailed technical discussions as and when they arrive. You'll have to organise catering (watch out for vegetarians) and the venue beforehand as well as arranging car park access.

Yet this bit is also deemed essential. Annoying. I will apply and wing it.

Also, Looe in Cornwall seems nice. Seconded - Looe is a great little town, although some epic steep hills if you're elderly, pished or dodgy brakes. Look out for a pub called the Double Decker, and there are some smugglers caves from the beach back into the cliffs that will give you the heebyjeebies if you're not a fan of dungeon-crawlers.
Oh, and stay away from Liskeard, particularly the rozzers..... absolutely no sense of humour or youthful high-jinx, Gob on it as you go past.

Surely Babyfark has just given you the exact spiel to use if asked. Guess he does have his uses. Afternoon! WoW. That is all my spare time at the minute. What little life I had is now slowly slipping away.
