I have picked up a fun new condition which starts off with a pain in my left lower jaw then creeps up the side of my head to give me a throbbing headache. Am I dying?

Tuffers The Kite shield will work fine vs the red phantom. Also you only have to kill the phantom once and it is gone forever. Vs Fool's Idol, not so much. Either a magic shield or don't get hit. The big problem is if you get hit once you get hit lots. There is nothing like being stunned in place and chopped to bits to make you realise how important stamina is. Fools Idol is no more. First time. BOOM! *drops mic* Hid behind the pillars and killed her with arrahs. A real man. Tried the phantom three more times with the spear, got close once but got pwned, so legged it straight past and bashed up the Fool. Some flying monsters then scooped me up and dropped me high up. |

I think my Demon's guy is getting a bit James Milner. Well rounded, solid and a trier but not excelling in any particular field.
Current numbers:
Vit 20
Int 8
End 21
Str 20
Dex 17
Mag 6
Faith 13
Luck
Bastard sword and Short Bow both +4
Could do with more Hardstones to get to +5

I'd get intelligence to 10.
You want your guy to be able to tell left boot from right boot.
And up the dexterity and endurance as much as you can for the moment.
Also wear really light armour. If you get hit by a big guy/guyess you are PMF anyway so make it easier not to get hit
There is black leather armour and imperial armour on the 4th floor of 3-1. Either will do.
