I think chumbles could really pull that look off. Games: Forza, expert level, Bathurst, AMG Mercedes, 26 laps. 2nd place. Harumph. OTTM: Nope. To be fair, Bathurst is a proper drongo of a track. The dipper really should have been called "Shit Your Pants Corner" Hell of a track, but there's always some cunt tries to overtake you going into the Cutting on GT Sport. Oh, you've killed us both? Who saw that coming.

Covid blog; that's most of the south going up a level. Seems like the November lockdown didn't really work and the Christmas idea is bad but no more U-turns? Hancock snapping at people criticizing the govt for bad responses saying it's all the virus fault and not the way they responded doesn't match NZ having sorted it. The November lockdown was starting to work. As with the first lockdown it was stopped too early. It takes time. There is a 2-3 week lag at least between actions and the first results. Aus & NZ have both pursued eradication strategies. That is restrictions ease only when there is no Covid being locally transmitted.

Idea for a tv programme - The death of Rod Hull - accident or Mossad hit job? Looking at the startling speculative revelations that Rod Hull was actually a Russian psy ops operation designed to sow chaos in the UK. Featuring anecdotes from Andy Peters about how Rod would slip into a thick Russian accent when drunk, and Terry Nuttal on how Rod once said “da” instead of yes. Do you Terry Nutkins? He had a hit placed on him by an otter team (Seal reservists).

Emu being left out of the frame a bit too easily here imo. Is Danky part of the cover up?

I've never seen Danky and Emu in the same room either.
Well, apart from those two times.

The indignation about being blamed for virus deaths when leaving lockdowns too early seemed a bit wrong. I'd have been happy for a longer lockdown but as science is still going it wasn't too different from normal, just no pub or sport. Tier 3 seems to be keeping so much open I don't know if it will have much effect.

Lunch blog: Double cheese in the form of cheese inside a cheese topped roll, tomato, spinach and pasta salad Pref.Mam. in hospital blog: Thank you all for your good wishes! Spoke to him today and there's light at the end of the tunnel. Although they never managed to locate the suspected bleeding he's no longer anaemic and there's again talk of physiotherapy to get him back onto his mobility baseline, because after weeks in a hospital bed at the moment he can't even stand up. So hopefully he will be home for Christmas or shortly thereafter. He's highly motivated to escape from that place, not least by the hospital food. Ganes blog: the usual ACNH, so far having a decent success rate in creating perfect Snowboys by employing the 10-spaces trick OTTM: I was amused to see the report on Priti Patel grassing up her colleague www.theguardian.com/world/2020/dec/17/priti-patel-dont-travel-to-see-people-this-christmas-covidas it involves the Iraq Britain Business Council, an outfit Pref.Mam. and I had dealings with in the past. They are a bunch of crusty Old Boys with a colonial attitude towards Iraq, mainly retired diplomats and their wives. Dinner conversation revolved around going hunting with your pack of salukis outside Mosul. We were travelling back from London on a late train after an event hosted by them and I was giggling about the absurdity of the evening all the way.

Tbf the drugs deaths rate is not our only claim to fame. Pretty sure we rank high on the heart disease scale too.

There is a video on YouTube in which a man claims to have mugged Amir Khan on a visit he made to Birmingham. He slates Amir Khan and brandishes all the items he says that he stole from him.
It is pretty funny. I would post a link but you have to sign in to YouTube.
Also ...
I don't think many people think that it's funny ...
