I had a cheese sandwich for lunch. Curry to follow for dinner. Decided against my usual Punk IPA and will go for Kronenberg tonight.

Kroney export gave me possibly the worst hangover I ever had in my life.
24 hour ferry biscay crossing to Spain on a mad 12 hour binge whilst the bar was open, with some random bloke, popping out every couple of pints for a quick spliff on a quiet upwind bit of the deck. Arrived in Santander mid morning in 28 degree heat. It wouldn’t have been so bad but I was on a solo cycling tour and had to try and find safety. Murder. 20 odd years later and i still think it fundamentally broke something in my brain.
The red label stuff you get in France is ok though.

Also, if in doubt, kill everyone Seems legit. Also be careful. Leveling up skills increases your level. If you level up loads of non combat abilities it may mean you are too weak for enemies. I did that once levelled up smithing to about 50 before I went very far in game.

Lunch was cheese sandwich, cucumber and prawn sandwich and Spaten beer.
Dinner? I better think of something fast.
I've been feeling strangely vindicated after I predicted that the NRA would point fingers at video games to deflect scrutiny of gun laws after last week's school shooting in Florida. There's now an opinion piece at The Other Place, nothing new there because there's nothing new to say.
However, I had to laugh when I saw Wayne LaPierre quoted as saying: "I even heard a TV pundit suggest that people seeking to buy a firearm should be interviewed first. Who’s going to conduct that interview and what will they ask?”, because it reminded me of the husband of one of Mr Enemy's South African cousins. He had the office of a Justice of the Peace and as such was responsible at the time for giving out gun licences. He was interviewing an applicant and asked the obvious question: what did he need a gun for? To which the answer was (read with a strong South African accent): "Mister, there are people who are really, really irritating me." Needless to say, the cousin's husband did not grant him the licence and had sleepless nights worrying that the bloke might obtain a gun by other means...

I mean it's not like Pacman led a generation to munch pills in dark rooms whilst listening to repetitive music is it?

No games for me tonight, I'm off to Edinburgh to drink as much beer as I can before the last train. This choice of activity, I feel, is the less likely of the two to incite me to commit acts of violence. I'd be wary of the rest of you.
Anyone doing anything noteworthy or otherwise?

Hi
My Scary Pixels playthrough is currently on hiatus. I have reached a point where, towards the end of Chapter 3, I activate the ship's engines and am then overrun by Necromorphs.
I don't have enough ammo for my pulse gun so have to fall back on my under powered, under capacity plasma cutter with predictable and bloody results.

I see video games are to blame for people being killed again. Hitler fairly loved his CoD after all.
I lived through the video nasty era and I've barely killed anyone.
In any case, by that logic, by playing a lot of Crash Bandicoot ive opened a gateway into the world of cruelty to endangered species and illegal fruit overdose.
Give over.
*spins wildly*

Hopefully there is space on top for some San Miguel.

Evening,
Skyrim chat: if you have the DLC don't bother with the houses in cities, get your own homestead. You can then build workbenches, enchanting tables, alchemy labs and grow good ingredients for potions.
If you are playing on higher difficulty levels invest in Alchemy. Potions and poisons are really useful, both in combat/healing and for gaining gold.
Also if you have the DLC the crossbow is a great weapon.

Killed it.
What's everyone having for breakfast?
EDIT: Bacon, probably. And a fried egg. Mushrooms too. Toast, why not? Coffee also. Lots of coffee.
And orange juice. That sounds good.

I'll be heading to the pat butcher's for some bacon and black pudding to go with my coffee.
Buzzing for it and old before my time.
