AC Vikings, have now set up the lovely little village of Ravensthorpe, and have a blacksmith and a little village shop, so you can get your milk and bits whilst waiting for your horse to have its shoes done.

Watched a disappointingly predictable football match, then listened to some more of the Lovecraft podcast.
I also finished reading Look to Windward, which was good.
No games. I got the THPS remake and God of War for Christmas. Fuck knows when I'll get the chance to play them.

Snoooowwww!! Well, not much, but it's pretty freezing here. Or freezing prettily. Both. Finally it's beginning to resemble the scene in Animal Crossing. Now I just need to be able to dump an illuminated reindeer and my old sofa outside and Birmingham will get a 5 star rating in no time.
Oh sorry, that's not a star rating, that's the soon to be created Tier 5. My mistake.
Speaking of ACNH, last night I created my first sarcastic snowman. I didn't know you could do that, but, as he would say, there's a lot I don't know.

That was last night round these parts. Was lovely. I've never made curry with leftover turkey before. There's usually no leftover turkey. Apparently though I had too high a sauce/rice ratio for the child who you would have thought I'd fed a vindaloo. It was Korma paste. Not Lorna paste as my phone just autocorrected. |

Hello Today I changed a faulty light switch in our bedroom without electrocuting myself. What have you ever done? Got my friend to install a dimmer switch because he "knows what I am doing, *sniff*". The backplate now falls off its mounting - this happened first after his chewing gum had dried out. I substituted BluTac as I am not a fan of combining water and electricity... |
