Blimey The most you pay in England is £10 a game on ppv. Scottish football is funded primarily by gate receipts, English football primarily by TV. They don't really need the money down there, but the Scottish clubs do. Hence tiny clubs like Burton and Bournemouth having vastly more money than Scottish clubs with two or three times the average gate. One of the many glorious legacies of the Murdoch revolution. I take your wider point* about sources of income, but Bournemouth average about 10,000. Only Celtic and Rangers average as much or more than twice that. Hibs and Hxxrts get about 16.7k each.** *You can thank me later. **I believe average attendances are actually zero at the moment.

Chicken, chick pea and coconut curry, basmati rice, nan, Stella Artois in my fancy Stella Artois chalice. Possibly some wine later (McGuigan shiraz black) when the cricket highlights are on.
Also got an inkling to dive back into Demon's. Not played it since pre Xmas. I left it at the start of Upper Latria with this as one of the 6 worlds left to do I think.

Bournemouth are more reliant on the Russian billionaire funding model than on TV money. Pre-Denim they were on their way out of the League.
Burton are a tiny little club of which I know nothing. The bastards.
I have no idea how to repair Scottish football.

In aggregate, Scotland has the highest or second highest attendances in Europe per capita. There is a table of wealth of clubs in Britain with TV money discounted. Aberdeen were one place above Birmingham last time I looked. However, Birmingham (or Bournemouth) could take any player they felt like from Aberdeen tomorrow. Not that I would recommend it as they are all shite. Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen are all generally 15k average plus or minus. If the league wasn't a rancid duopoly they would be higher (as they have been in the windows when the duopoly was weakened - when R*****s were liquidated, C****c's went down and everyone else's went up. Inevitably, this was presented in the Weegia as 'bad for Scottish football'). The duopoly as presently constituted is itself a product of the Murdoch / Champs League era. Tldr: I am trapped in an unhealthy obsessive hate relationship with football that I somehow cannot leave.

I don't really follow the Scottish equivalent of football, but I've just had a look at the league table and seen rangers are 20 points ahead of the other lot.
What's happened there then?

I mean, obviously I realise it's because they have won more games.

A *lot* of spending paid for by unsustainable debt from staunch bluenose brogue wearing God save the Queen humming businessmen who move in unionist/orangey circles; Plus Gerrard weakens the opposition by buying any player who has a good game against them; Plus he has also done a surprisingly good job; Plus Neil Lennon lol.

Tldr: I am trapped in an unhealthy obsessive hate relationship with football that I somehow cannot leave. I'd put Dundee Utd up there as well as Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen for criwds. It would be fairly competitive, except for the evil twins. We generally get around 20-22K in the Championship. We lost a lot during the Lee Clark years though. It takes a while to build back up. That's not such a bad crowd when we are competing with WBA, AVFC and Cov for fans. The effective attach rate in Brum is about 6% I think. Only Manchester and Liverpool get higher rates and they are full of tourists. It's just a shame too many of them are DVBs.

Also there is some suspicion we might still be more reliant on profits creamed off from gambling than is usual, rather than ticket prices for funding. Our prices are lower than they were in 2004-05. I'm sure many of our fans would pay more.

I've taken delivery of that Children of Ash and Elm book, to read alongside playing Ass Vikings. I hope it's good, otherwise I will have the rest of my life to regret blowing my Christmas book voucher on a Sheep2 recommendation.

I'm sorry I talked about games - I'll come back later when it's safe, and the Scots have stopped moaning about how no-one watches their wonderful exhibitions of "how we kick a decapitated Englishman's head about"
- No-one's explained to the Russian oligarch* that the braw laddies going commando while their wimminfolk look on and jeer, are only joking... "Dinna fash yersel' Ivan, this here's just practice for when we go ta tha' Lunnun and scare the sassenach shitless"
*The Scots aren't racist, all Englishmen are Jimmy whatever their original race is.

Tuna pasta for dinner. Wish I had a curry. (What am I saying - I had several days of having curry.)
Arrrrr.
Pref.Mam. is doing better, though still on oxygen and antibiotics but no longer running a temperature and eating a lot of sandwiches and fruit.
This morning I had a phone call from the hospital asking me to come in and drop off clean clothes for him whilst picking up his dirty washing, because apparently their own laundry is closed atm. Since I didn't have a full hazmat suit I armed myself with a bin bag and gloves and handled the small bag of washing they gave me like a souvenir from Chernobyl. It's now in quarantine and I have washed my hands thoroughly whilst singing "Happy Birthday" roughly 300 times.
Now listening to a K.K. Slider concert in ACNH.
Had a look at the new Pokémon Snap trailer. Might be worth sending the grandchildren down that particular Scorbunny hole some time in the future.

I've yet to play the eliminator. I've been too busy crawling about the floor looking for an errant chocolate button. Mainly as I dropped it and it's evidence that I've dipped the child's selection box tin.
The only chocolate I own is a box of Vegan ones I intended to give to friends at Xmas and then we got locked down. They're hotel Chocolat so taste better than normal vegan muck - but I wanted the nasty cadburys instead. The night is young though.

I made a fantastic Chicken Tikka Masala. Most of the snow has melted. I am also half way through the Robocop remake and it's so, so bloody awful.
Crank - all FPS games are better with mouse and keyboard!
