I drank Cornish wine last night. It was awful.

I drank Cornish wine last night. It was awful. The lack of Cornish vines and the relentless driving Cornish rain might be a clue

It was part of a gift basket from my parents who live down there, all the contents were locally produced. The chocolate buttons were better than the wine. The biscuits were fine.

Morning nerds!
Last night I watched some sweet FA Cup action. The magic of the cup was in full force. Well it was until Spurs brought on all there good players from the bench.
Ate left over chilli.
No games were played.
Work is a bit slow this week so I am tempted to see if I can rearrange my work space to have my laptop and monitors easily accessible to jump on any incoming stuff, but also have Cricket 19 (PS4) playing too as it doesn't require constant attention - unlike my face.

Hello. I played no games, but watched a thing called Absentia on Amazon. The reviews said it was shit, but it was actually pretty ok as these things go. 4 stars.

hi
I ate half a vegetarian haggis yesterday, and some mashed potatoes, and some swede. I drank some wine, I drank Scotch whisky ... I also watched three episodes of 'Phoenix Nights'.
I didn't read out any of Robert Burns's poetry. The Nationwide adverts have really done for poetry being read out, if you ask me. To be honest I probably wouldn't have read it out anyway ... No disrespect to Robert Burns. It just might have felt a bit formal and stilted. It's my problem. My hang-up.
I don't feel good today. My ears are causing me all sorts of distress. Physical pain, mental confusion ...
I might sit this out - nodding bravely and 'liking' posts from the safety of my laptop.

People who prefer mild cheese will be first up against the wall come the Revolution.
No, third against the wall after the Schofield creature and Josh Widdecombe.

I'd pay good money to watch Priti Patel riddle the Schofield's body with machinegun bullets. Good money.

There was another ruckus in our neighbourhood last night. As I came to bed we heard an 'Oi oi oi, stop him.' I turned off the light and, with the index and ring fingers of my right hand, scissored opened a slat of the blinds to peek out. One or two figures disappeared round the corner on the utility road behind our flat. Then there was the sound of shouting and barking dogs at the front of the building. A passer-by stopped and looked in the direction of the front of our building. They did a volte-face and went back in the direction they'd come from. A few moments later a man ran back round from the front, passed our wall, then shortly after that the police turned up ...
This is the second time in three days we have seen a figure run down the utility road. Someone's up to no good.
* Edited to change the spelling of 'oi'. Oy or oi? I'm still not sure ...

Got to agree with Lazybones about 'poetry' in adverts. A blight on the modern age, enough to put you off poems and building societies for life.

I have to level with you - I found it heard to listen to Amanda Gorman's Inauguration poem without thinking of those adverts.
