I started watching that Dredd film last night. Looked just like the Stallone one - bit more krovvy though, which is always welcome. Dredd was my favourite film of 2012. I’m surprised you didn’t watch the whole thing. It is superb. |

I have water!
In the bathroom
As much water as a sheep could hope for.
Maybe more.
I turned the tap in the sink off last night. It is a mixer tap. It made an odd clicking noise and water continued to flow. Not out of the spout but from the top and bottom of the tap.
Mostly in the sink but some is from inside the t a p and dripping on the floor. Well in to a jug
I have not turned off the isolation tap or the main inlet tap. This is because both are well and truly stuck open.
The head of the screw on the local isolation valve is damaged. The main inlet tap ain't for budging either. Even with a wrench.
I am awaiting a plumber with some eagerness.

My dad did come round with a big toolkit. But he had no more success.
It is somewhat pleasing as it proves I am no more than usually incompetent.
However I would have settled for being shown up if it stopped the drip.

The main lesson I have relearnt is that if you don't need to wash your hands after a peepee you should not turn the tap on.

Hello all. Gamesblog: pfft. TVblog: Adventure Time. That programme has deep lore. Amigablog: the A1200T was being a diva again. As much as I wanted to play some games on it, basically wouldn’t boot. Eventually it did (after some judicious rebooting), but I’d ran out of time and patience by then. I hope you got the PS5 and delicious booze safely to the roof. The PS5 and delicious booze are safe. I did have to move most of the delicious booze to get at the main stopcock. I have more wine than I thought. I live in a flat so the bathroom is not upstairs. The water is contained and is not accumulating as I am able to bail out. It is less than ideal though. I would be prepared to surrender my extra water. Also the advantage of inlet valves and stopcocks is limited if they are solidified open. I suspect it is due to extremely hard water here. My water is so hard it has beaten up the tap. |

Jims 2 - I forgot to mention that after my humiliation by the false king on DS, I also went onto PS Now and streamed Dead Space 3 for about 30 mins. Intense.
I wanted to play Dead Space one as I had seen this on the kids Xbox game pass, also I played this first time round, but alas, no dead space one or two on PS Now.
The game did give a nice recap of the previous story to date though, which was nice.
