Snow blog: none. DIY blog: lots. Fortnite Duo blog: the victory tally increased last night, or early this morning. Not sure how much more lockdown my liver can take.
It should be illegal to be awake this early.

Great news everyone!
I made it back from the co-op with a savoy cabbage, a bag of carrots and some delicious booze.

Nothing too exciting, but delicious nonetheless.
The co-op has Muriel Rioja on offer at ÂŁ6.50, so a bottle of that. Plus 4 cans of everyone's favourite selling Belgium lager, that I can pour into my Stella chalice to make me look well posh, innit.

Booze is essential shopping or will I have to buy some veg to throw on the compost as well? Snow blog, small white dots fell when on the daily walk. DIY blog, gates removed from drive and evergreen branches removed, trunk left to do now.

FFX chat.
So to do the stupid lightning dodge you really need no-encounter armour, you can get them from a very rare drop in a random battle in a specific cave or you can capture 5 different types of dragon in 5 different areas*, they also appear randomly.
I needed one more dragon and the damn armour dropped in a random battle. 3 hours that took. sigh. 4*
*You need 4 of each so 20 in all.

Hang in there Chumbles . No more medical emergencies, please. I won't allow it. Snow blog: Last night I went to bed shortly after midnight. As I switched off the light the street light in front of the house came into focus and I realised that there was a flurry of snow around it, but in the morning all traces of snow were gone. Now it just looks as if it's going to snow. Place your bets here. After the trip to London on Wednesday I needed a full day to recover from sitting for hours on a metal seat that was draughty, cold, and purposefully designed to be as uncomfortable as possible. The moon cycle had also been in full swing at the time. Fortunately the train back home left 15 minutes earlier than advertised to make up for being diverted via Northampton because of a landslip near Rugby. I guess people who think that showing up 15 minutes early for a train is sufficient time learnt a hard lesson that day. The train was also cut in half as some carriages were needed elsewhere. This made my first class reservation definitely worth it, although it has to be said that the conductor did a good job of reminding everyone to wear masks and keep their distance. I had my doubt about first class in the morning when the train to London had been pretty empty. I know that because I walked almost the entire length of it to get to the buffet car and pick up my complimentary "breakfast box" which contained two small, "croissants" (be aware that the quotation marks are doing some very heavy lifting here), a savoury cheese spread that clashed with the slightly sweet doughy bakery goods, some cloyingly sweet strawberry jam and a fat free but overly sugary strawberry yoghurt. Oh, and some apple juice which wasn't too bad. I wolfed it all down, not only because it was free, not only because I hadn't had breakfast, but also because I had made the mistake of asking for and receiving a cup of coffee. Now, I had some bad coffee on a number of trains in my time, but this one was special. Bad train coffee usually just tastes like hot dishwasher water, but this coffee combined this dominant flavour with the powerful aroma of an unflushed toilet. Imprinted on the coffee cup were the words "award winning coffee", and I realised that this foul concoction had indeed won the award for the worst coffee of my life. If there's any worse out there I don't want to know about it. Unfortunately I had no choice but to drink it to get rid of it. So I used it to wash down the contents of the breakfast box and prayed that everything would stay down. Luckily it did. tl;dr: avoid the coffee on Avanti West Coast trains

Killed it.
Filmblog: watched Space Sweepers earlier, a South Korean sci-fi flick.
Here's a film that doesn't really know what it wants to be. Is it a light-hearted action film? Or is it hard-hitting science-fiction with warnings about technology and the environment?
It's also one that is way too long* for what is actually a very simple story - too much exposition and too many call-backs to establish characters. With a bit of cutting, this could be quite a good 80-90 min space-romp.
Or maybe send it back in time to Spielberg in the 80s. He would have been able to make a great film out of the premise.
4*
*much like this post.

I too am planning on staying up to watch the super bowl. In reality I will probably fall asleep in the first quarter and watch it tomorrow while I'm supposed to be working.
