So have we all survived day one of the Beast of the East so far? No snow settled here for now, but it is a bit cold.
Also, for lunch I had a cheese sandwich.

The BftE hasn't accomplished much more than a light sprinkle of snow, though there may be more to come. I played it safe and had Flammkuchen for lunch (onion, smoked ham and creme fraiche on a not quite pizza base). With green salad. 4 *s

I had one when they were first released. Ladies. Do you still have it or the black leather trench coat you definitely wore? Nah, handed it in when I upgraded to my Sony Ericsson T68i. For shame. I didn't have a leather coat at the time, and definitely wouldn't have been able to pull it off. Half the reason why I haven't dropped cash on the Bladerunner 2049 jacket.

Email from the top brass saying staff should be planning to work from home where possible this week, as it's a bit cold. Just need school & nursery to stay open and it's gaming week for me

So far the beast from the east just makes it a bit nippy with a few flakes of snow.

I'm being micro-managed by my line manager. She's asking for me to cc: her into any emails I send to keep her in the loop. I've decided anything I would have phoned about I'll now do an email instead. She'll enjoy that. Keep her in the loop. When emailing IT folk I'll aim to use as many acronyms as possible to keep the emails succinct so as not to waste her time.
Just finished watching the penultimate Gomorra of the season. Great stuff.
If the weather allows I'll have gaming hour later. Pasta pesto for dinner I think.

Morning, I’ve got a busy day today, new office new people, I might not have much chance to get on.
What? It’s 7pm? Fuck sake...

Also, I just had to drive for 20 minutes with my hand out the window holding a bungee cord to keep a mattress on the roof of my car.
How long does it normally take for feeling to come back into fingers? Asking for a friend

Just finished watching the penultimate Gomorra of the season. Great stuff. I think I'm about halfway. Just watched the one where the leader of the hipster firm has to make his bones

Dont put your words in my mouth!
That was particularly nasty I thought. Reminded me why Mrs Crank stopped watching.

Steak, mushrooms and chips tonight. Luckily I've already done my endtime shopping and am hunkering down to make it through the slight sprinkle of snow.
Playing Skyrim helps getting through this harsh winter. I've just ventured out of Whiterun after doing sidequests there. The long list of sidequests reminds me of Xenoblade Chronicles; I wish that Skyrim had a similar system of keeping track of all the people and their relationship to one another. My playing style is being myself and trying to be nice to everyone; so far, so good, although I've got to be careful with those motion controls: every time the cat presses me for a smooch I draw my weapons... My speech skills are progressing nicely because I chat to everyone.
The version I'm playing is supposed to include all DLC, but I haven't figured out yet how to have a homestead of my own. I've found the house in Whiterun but I haven't got enough money yet and consequently am crashing on a couch in Jorrvaskr.

SUCK MY BALLS BEAST FROM THE EAST! Probably difficult if they've retreated back inside you, away from the cold... I'm doing the sensible thing and am wrapped in a duvet on the couch, thus avoiding an increase in my heating bills. Scottish til the last, which may not be far off if Wednesday is as cold as they reckon it will be.

191 guests? Who are these people?
More to the point, why don't they have anything better to do?
EDIT: Bink X 190 + one poor sod who followed a link thinking (hoping) it was Meatspin.

I also recall there being a tip to sell things individually. It takes longer, but you get the same amount of speech experience selling an individual item as selling lots of items in one go.
