I've been in bed all morning, but have just had some life-giving soup bought up to me. I may well survive into the night.
A sick day should mean time in front of the PlayStation, not bed-ridden!

You need to make a base on the living room sofa and play a game you can handle laying down. I remember one illness where I managed to start one of the Fable games from scratch and finish it. |

Girl with the dragon tattoo, read the first three books and not sure if I'll start the fourth, completed after he died by someone else. Thought that only happened to really long sci fi or fantasy series.
Much preferred the Norwegian versions of the films to the remake. No foreign film remakes seem to compare to the originals, I guess that will stop with brexit and us being allowed to remake everything the proper British way.

Im currently reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Not my usual genre (lacks elves) but crikey is it a page turner. Havnt a clue i regards to its geography (fantasy gives you maps) but im interesting in who the killer is. To be fair, Sweden does feature on Google maps, unlike Rivendell. |

Gutted that Maplin may be on the slide.... As a kid I got my first chequebook just so I could order components for school projects by post, after crosschecking the humungous catalogue with space-ships on the covers. Then the week or so it took before the parcel arrived and you found out they had delivered everthing apart from one vital diode or resister as it was out of stock, and having to scour old tv/radios for a best-guess equivalent and hope it didn't go up in a puff of smoke.

I completely lost control for lunch. I had an all day breakfast sandwich from Tesco, pickled onion Monster Munch and a San Pellegrino. I then bought a medium cup of Wilco pick and mix. And it's all gone, leaving me only with stomach pains.

On the last train to Glasgow. Got in at 10 after much nonsense. Left at 12. Stood in the cold for over 2hrs while scotrail mucked about. Probably a 1.5hr walk when I get to Glasgow. Love the snow me. Off tomorrow though..
