31st March gastroscopy and covid test in preparation for a dilatation! Apparently nearly dying has lit a fire under them... Glad to read that something positive has come from your recent issues, Chumbles.

Today Im having cheesy nacho beans waffles for lunch. Its delicious. When I saw that photo, it looked like the food was upside down. Then the more I stare at it, it goes the right way up, then upside down again. This could be the new 'what colour is the dress' sensation.

Chumbles: glad to hear you are getting better. silcox: congratulations on all fronts.
@lunch: McDonald's drive thru, which is what passes for a treat in the new age. I am not sure I enjoyed it.
@ottm: went to get my driving licence card renewed. Could barely believe the state of my physiognomy when I saw the photo they took at the post office. Haggard af.

Do you think the Scottish diet makes people age faster?

SilcoxCongratulations on the new family member. I think ...
To be honest you were a bit unclear on the details. If this is some half-sister you've only just found out about then, well ... Good luck in your journey.

Morning all!
ValHeim! I've been on a voyage of discovery. Wandered into the Black Forest, at which point the game told me to turn around and leave, which I promptly did. On the way back to camp I discovered a dungeon entrance on the edge of the Black Forest. Then went on a long exploration down the coast, and discovered the Mountains. The mountains are even less welcoming than the Black Forest, so also promptly left. On the way home I discovered that there was a small slice of Black Forest biome right next to the starting point and where I had built my first house, which explains why there were so many graylings around and the odd skeleton. Also discovered a big stone building which I think is where the enemies keep coming from. Also bees.

I feel increasingly confident about the Black Forest. I may set up a house there.

How is everyone doing? Can we talk? I'm making a conscious effort to breathe through my nose. I have realised that ... for too long now ... I have been a 'mouth breather'. It's true. No wonder I'm always on edge. Anyway, that's the story. That's the story of my morning. If I seem a bit 'out of sorts' it's because I'm grappling with a huge change to my respiratory habit. Do you fill up your whole lungs when you breathe? Get that diaphragm working for you.

Do you fill up your whole lungs when you breathe? Get that diaphragm working for you. I do as of this morning. Surprisingly easy to slip back into mouth-breathing though. Like 'Blakey' from 'On the Buses'.

I'm getting adverts for knuckle dusters at the bottom of the page. They're from a Chinese site I'd looked at Grandado - an alixpress type site. It's claiming they're pendants. They don't look very ornamental. Just mental.

The insane game continues, move every 15 minutes ... bonkers; the game is finely balanced, Chumbles and the yellow team under attack from both the Pink Party and the Czech Green brothers who have a purple member sticking up above the piccy (ooh, matron!)... No time to talk

Congratulations, silcox ! I would be very honoured to become your daughter's gamesmother, as Chumbles suggested. I suppose you should start her off with the occasional game of peekaboo before we take the training wheels off in her first strategy RPG. Let me know when she's no longer putting the controller into her mouth. Chumbles , glad to hear that your medical team has finally sprung into action. Lunch blog: Nissin teriyaki chicken cup noodle. From a review for Nissin cup noodles on Amazon: If I had written this review I would have left out this little detail, but I can't argue with the fact that 6 people found the review useful. I wonder whether they are all instructors on Rolling's Health & Safety course. I sincerely hope that the reviewer does not share an office kitchen with anyone, here or elsewhere. Another advantage of WFH: idiotic co-workers no longer pose a risk to life and limb. Gamesblog: If you avoid sorting paperwork because you would rather play Xenoblade Chronicles the paperwork doesn't just magically sort itself and you will have to do it the next day which means that you can't play Xenoblade Chronicles. I've learned that the hard way.

What a useless review, no mention of 1966 anywhere.

silcox - congratulations! And welcome back to the place that never sleeps. Chumbles - keep the updates coming. I love a good strategy game, but have no idea how NP is played, apart from making the dots change colour by sheer force of will. I have confidence you and the yellow posse will prevail. Roast chicken, chips and gravy. OTTM.... 1st jab next week.

After my traumatic epiphany with the photo at the post office, I've treated myself to a shave and a self-inflicted haircut and now I look like a haggard Henry V. It's a powerful look.

The lodgings, pictured As I said, blind, drunk, cobbler(s) How are the building regs in the Black Forest? Have you at least ensured the Gary Glitter is not situated directly off the kitchen this time?

in the old lodgings (when the outlaws took up residence) the Gary Shitter was right by the front door. Coming home was a real minefield.
