MrTiddles and TuffersBuy a years Xbox gold..from cd keys or the like. Add it to your account. They convert it to Gamepass. You may get the whole year. You may get 4 months. It's your Donald Duck. They are supposed to convert 3 months gold to 1 months gamepass. I got a year's worth in Jan. Either way you're not out of pocket. It's £38.99 there for 12 months. Make sure it's an EU / UK one though. Nice one Crank! I didn't know about this so have just done it (via cd keys). I 'only' got the 4 months but I'm still £4.96 better off for the deal! I knew reading the 'box for years would pay off in the end.. *adds £4.96 to tonight's beer fund*

Well I'd probably go for some Stella, but I already have two Ilkley Brewery beers in the fridge (one Blonde and the other Pale) so mixing lager and nice ale probably won't go too well, so I'm not sure.
*buys 24 cans of '8 Ace'*

If you don't want to do that head into a supermarket and photograph pringles packets. And if that doesn't work you can still show it to Ken Scott and the lads to bag a sweet 20 pointer.

I’ve got the Virgin lads here, hookin’ up some super-fast broadband.
“Can I use your loo, please?” On the one hand, I don’t really want others’ possibly corona-laced urine in my toilet. But on the other, I want my broadband connected properly.
“Whizz away.”

Would Nelson have banned the use of his latrine to a young Jack Tar, fixing the captain's table?

I'm sure there's a "laying a cable" joke to be made here, and possibly something about chatterboxers and virgins.

Was Horatio Nelson even the captain of his own ship?
Did he have a Captain's Table?

Had the result of a bowel cancer test* and there is no further action needed, must admit I was fretting about that for a week.
*The one they automatically send out to old people.

Glad to hear things are good. I delayed taking the test because I didn't want to have been boozing the day before* so it took a while to send back. *Would have made no difference, I assume I was inventing reasons to not send it back, ignorance is bliss and all that.

Was Horatio Nelson even the captain of his own ship? Did he have a Captain's Table? He was not captain of HMS Victory. That was Thomas Hardy. Notorious kisser and sometime novelist. When he got lonely he was known to invite young midshipmen to his cabin for a poetry reading.

Hi
Started watching So Dark on Bezos Prime. First episode (?) was only 7 minutes long but intriguing. Settled in for the rest...
Ep 2 was 20 minutes or so...enjoyable enough.
And then...and then?...nothing.
So, that's it? Hmm....
