Ottm, not much. Reading a few bond books to make myself more pc. Or less depending on if they are used as a good or bad example, not sure how anyone could smoke 70 a day though.

Back to work today.
Had a week and a bit off - which made me so grateful for having some structure during a year of lockdown.
I did have plans for some serious gaming time, but Donkey Kong got in the way of that. I was stuck on boss 4, so went back to the start with cheat Kong and worked my way back to and beyond boss 4 and then boss 5. So back to DK and I am now onto level 6 - which I assume is the final level.
I really feel that DK Tropical Freeze is up there in my list of all time greats. It’s accessible, iterative and diabolical all at the same time.
There’s a course on level 5 were you are battling a penguin driving the loader from Aliens, who parachutes out at the end - only to land in the animated background and be eaten by a giant flytrap plant. The attention to detail is fantastic.
All this was at the cost of not starting FFVII or carrying on with Tactics Ogre. And letting my turnips rot on Animal Crossing.

Grammar chat. Terrible. I blames skool. My laziness was allowed to thrive. There's a lot to be said for having the rules battered into you. Not quite Catholic home for unwed mothers battered but repetitive learning to a certain extent. Not modern thinking/experience I realise.
Games. Minecraft. Was on my pal and his son's realm. Was given all the diamond gear and we went down the netherworld.

Morning all.
Gamesblog: almost!
- Outer Worlds went in the disc slot.
- PS4 complained about a lack of space.
- I deleted a CoD that I’ve never played (~80GB).
- Game installed.
- Update started to download.
- Much like you by this point, I got bored of waiting, and did something else.
TVblog: The Terror. 😬
And some Arrested Development.
Amigablog: installed and played Shogo: MAD. Need to tweak some settings, as a bit of graphical corruption, and the game doesn’t move quite as smoothly as I’d like.

Morning all. Not you.
Games - Valheim. Made my seaside cottage a bit bigger, went hunting all along the coast and river banks for flint and spent too long trying to hunt deer, before finally taking on the lightning reindeer boss thing. Pretty easy, kept my shield up then poked him with a spear lots. He fell over dead, then looted his corpse, and now I have a pick axe.
Great game, but actually struggles on my laptop a bit. Maybe it’s time to upgrade.

Morning barrel-riders!
Watched cricket yesterday. Proper test creekit. Windies v Sri Lanka. I was mesmerised by Rahkeem Cornwall. At 2m tall and 22 stone he looks like he's playing with a child's cricket set. 60 n.o with, erm, not many quick singles, for the spinner.
No games.
OTTM, I have bacon in the fridge. YES!

Got Shenguin a winners medal in season 6 of Fortnite. It was pretty obvious he wasn't up for rote learning. What with being dead.
I hid in a bush in the middle and it suddenly went down to 2 players left. I stepped out and shot over my opponent's shoulder from behind. He turned round and stepped into the second volley.

Frank Worthington
Will 2016 never end?
Frank played for us in the early 80s. He was fantastic. A skilled player when everyone else played in straight lines.
I met him a few years ago. He had been signing books at Blues and was wandering through the ground to his seat. He was really nice. And absolutely pissed.
Back when we were allowed to go to football one of the people who sits near me was a massive fan of Frank. He bought more than 1 signed coy of the book. I am pretty certain a couple of the copies were gifts, but I think 2 of them were for him.

hello How are you? Are you well? I'm ok. I played some games last night. For the most part I played Player Unknown's Battlegrounds.
The less said about it the better. I played with two companions. We agreed it was dis-spiriting to find out we had mainly been playing 'bots' so we decided to play 'ranked mode' instead, to make sure we were playing real people.
It was a chastening experience. |

In the world of PUBG ... I landed, with my friend, next to a house, with another man. The man ran inside and we followed him. We found him loading up an assault rifle, clearly with murder on his mind, so we began to punch him (more out of pre-emptive self defence than anything). But we were hooting and revelling over the headsets. It was an ugly scene ...
The man expired and we congratulated one another, gloating really. Anyway 30 seconds later his friends arrived. They shot down my friend in cold blood, then one of them sniped me through the window. He walked in and doused my man in petrol, then he set him on fire. It was horrible.
On another occasion we got chased by some men in a car. We had no weapons. Two of us were killed and my other friend drove on, steering off the road. The way they descended on him. I can never forget ...
