Morning,
Very tired last night. Walking in the snow, shovelling snow to thank for that.
In bed for 22:15.
Bdt was one bottle of Elvis juice.
Watched 30 mins of Thor and sacked it.
Games. Couple of rounds of the new dogfight maps on BF1.
8hrs sleep and currently wondering where the nearest cows in a field are I can attempt to milk.

My work is meant to be open from 10 - 3 today. I was hoping they'd announce the sequel to snow day, snow day 2: chilldren of the snow, but it looks unlikely now despite the fact the trains and buses are off.
No games, just been watching star trek tng between bouts of uni coursework.

2 out of 3 of my hourly trains home have been cancelled. Why did I come in today? I'm just sat on my own drinking endless amounts of Tassimo coffee.

Due to the trains website being useless I've ended up on my way into work today. Heavy snow is forecast for later today. If I get stuck I will be incredibly annoyed.

The damn train line website wasn't even working for me this morning. Seems to be OK now, but it's always an hour or so out of date this week, so you get to the station thinking it's all hunky dory but all your trains are in fact 30 minutes late or cancelled. |

Morning!
Worked from home yesterday and ended up doing more work than when I'm in. Textbook doing it wrong.
Games! Not WoW! Took a break from the MMO to play a fake MMO, .hack GU. After watching the 2 hour intro video I actually managed to get in an hours play before bed. It seems ok. You can tell it's a PS2 game but it's been beautified enough and plays well. Looking forward to powering through over the weekend (if I can get tear myself away from WoW for long enough).

The ScotRail twitter account are just about holding it together. They tweet that NO services are running. 10 mins later someone replies to ask if there's a train running from auchtershooshtie to wherever. The replies get more curt.

In the book people are terminated at age 21 - this is clearly too young, most gamers haven't had sex by this point.
In the film they are killed at age 30, which seems much fairer, but still a little too early in my opinion.
Question: what is the optimum age for society to kill off its oldies? 35? 40? Surely no older - everyone is grouchy, insane or hysterical after that.

I'm shamed into not even getting into some of the main storylines for some of the guilds/factions. It'll still be Imperials though, only just. |
