So the royals can't play as soldiers just in case Harry is offended. They didn't seem to have such a problem last year. Like rain on your funeral day. I don't know that Harry is bothered. The tabloids are going for him so anything negative is unsurprising. As for Andrew, I'm presuming his kit is always clean, after all he can't sweat...

Kale chat: Recently in a phone conversation I was referring to someone whose first name is "Cale". I had to add " like the cabbage" and answered the question " what kind of name is that?" with " he's American". There was agreement that it's an unfortunate name. Is he the son of John Cale of The Velvet Underground? Or of J J Cale? Cale Cale or Cale Kale or even Kale Cale would be great names.

I see Sturgeon’s face is all over the Guardian front page.
I’d be supportive of Scottish independence if I didn’t have to see her mug again.

I just looked up the children of Nat King Cole, but none of them were named Cale Cole. A missed opportunity.

I played a game COD Warzone at lunch, but I am not used to the feel of the game after playing so much PUBG. I ran around for a while before getting killed by someone camping in a house. Didn't bother with a 2nd game. Then chilled playing some NMS, still trying to get to the galactic core.

The big G is very sensitive these days. Apparently Alanis will NOT be a funeral tune.

Morning!
Yesterday I noticed various indie games trending on Twitter and figured out that I had missed an Indie Direct. So I watched it later. I think there wasn't a single game that I wouldn't mind trying out, which is a first. House of the Dead remake and Oxenfree 2, nice. I've had my eye on CrisTales for a while, so very pleased to have a date for that. The other highlight for me was Getsu Fuma Den: Undying Moon, which to my eye looks very pretty but made me wonder whether Konami is now an indie developer. Supposedly they are helping an indie studio, but it wouldn't surprise me if the efforts of the smaller developer would result in better sales than the recent abominations that are Metal Gear Survive and Contra Rogue Corps. Get your shit together, Konami.
I'll probably end up not playing any of them.
Glacial progress in Xenoblade Chronicles and I have reached the Gaur Plains on the Bionis' Leg (looking forward to tickling his toes at one point), home of the Territorial Rotbart, who fortunately has not been too territorial towards me, because he's at level 82 and I'm barely at level 21. Will continue to tiptoe around him.
Oh, and Reyn got a sweet new weapon, the Jaguar Lancer. I replaced my Arachno Driver with it.
Lunch: Baguette, French brie, Branston Pickle.

Was Nat King Cole a play on the name 'Old King Cole'? - the merry old soul?
I can be a bit slow on the uptake with these things. I only recently realised that the Sutton Coldfield chip shop 'George's Best', was a play on the name George Best.

There's also a Pat's Butchers in Sutton Coldfield. Well - technically Little Aston. The land of the pun.
