Pasta, chicken, and mashed spuds? I made a chicken pasta thing with green veg in the Wok on Wednesday and made too much as usual, so I used the rest in a tin and put some butter fried onions in and creamed mashed potato on top, then black pepper over it. 35 - 40 mins in the Halogen. Bootiful. |

Did you know Argos is Greek for gullible? I wouldn't know. Apparently the word 'gullible' isn't in the dictionary. That's amazing, I never knew that. Splendid work there from Crank. I read somewhere that the word originated onboard ships when coming into Port, due to the amount of Gulls and other seabirds following them. |

Hi
My neighbours are celebrating Eid today. Well, I assume they are as I'm sure it's Eid, I haven't seen them. I'm really really hoping they bring me some food round. They have done sometimes in the past. It is remarkable food - they are Kuwaiti - a great bunch of lads, erm, a family, actually. It's delicately spiced and different to anything I usually eat. One treat was a lamb and rice dish, which looked like a biryani, but tasted totally different and amazing, different spices or spice combos. The chap suggested I tried fasting for one of the days this year, just to try it. Then he told me the rules. Ouch! Not for this bap!
Anyway, I'm waiting with hope and marking the occasion with BDT. Hopefully I'll get to watch the rearranged Liverpool v Man Utd match shortly, unless RedNev has orchestrated his comrades to invade the pitch again.

As much as I love walkers smokey bacon on a chit, mixing with real bacon seems foolhardy. The rest sounds amazing though.

Shouldn't you be taking them something as it's them who are celebrating? I can justly throw that in your face as our only Muslim neighbours moved away. Nothing to do with me taking them booze to celebrate Eid or anything like that.

Like it belonged in a sort of bonsai orchard. That must be worth at least a rice dish over the next few days. |

Filums: A lot. I mean A LOT. Ask me about films. You won't (might) regret it. TV: No, I've not fucking watched Line of 'fucking' Duty. But I do have Disney+ OTTM: I have a new job. I had a new dog but she was mental so had to go. Pics on my insta for those interested. OTTRM: Had my first covid jab. Felt just as chipper as I did when I had covid last May. Roll on Monday and indoor restaurant / pub drinking and dining (fuck al fresco)

You like mild cheese? That is just washing-up liquid that they couldn't sell, so it has solidified and been rebranded as cheese.
