Chippy getting delivered for dinner. Tremendous. I had Haddock & chips with curried beans last night. A game changer. Wunderbar.

Just walked to Sainsbury's in new Birkenstocks. Forgot how much they wrecked your calfs when not used to them.

John Mills Chat.
Saw my dad earlier and I used that scene as a reference point for describing my first proper pint in a pub since Feb 2020, that I had last Friday.
I'd also like a frame up on the wall of that scene but it would add further doubts to my claim I'm not raging alky.
OTTM, water pistol fight in the garden. My weapon (you heard) resembled an ak47. Good power too.
Tin of Heinz ravioli with toast for tea. Kill me.
On the upside I do have beer (see earlier comment).
No games.

A guy I used to know had a post pub snack of tinned ravioli done in the deep fat fryer. *Boak*
On toast it's great - or was the last time I had it many moons ago.

This does sound good. Alas, my local chippy only does curry sauce, mushy peas, gravy or beans. I guess I could mix curry sauce and beans together and hope for the best.

Tenthen!
Many thanks for your recent post (a few weeks - month) ago in reply to someone on here about faulty switch joy cons.
Both my kids joy cons had the 'drift' issue and made the games unplayable. I booked a repair slot via the Nintendo website and not longer after received an email with packing instructions and a free post label/bar code.
Packaged both sets up as instructed, but couldn't find the receipt, also as I'd had to say when I bought them (Dec 2018) so they were no longer in warranty (if the warranty is the standard 2 years).
So I expected either a) them returned untouched as no receipt/warranty, or at best b) we'll fix them for you for £xx.
Email today: "we've fixed your Joycons and you'll receive them tomorrow."
Amazing!!

Evening.
We spent the afternoon, en famille, eating and drinking in a pub garden in glorious sunshine.
It was extremely pleasant. 4 stars.

I watched Inglorious Bastards. It's a great film until the final act when it no longer wows as much. The opening scene in the French farm house and the cellar pub scene are peak Tarintino.
I also played two matches of PUBG badly.
I have the pub on Saturday. Sweet, sweet pub.
