Morning. I have hurt my foot. Last night I fell asleep in my chair (a potent combination of old age and BDT). When i woke up I got up to go to bed. Unfortunately my left foot hadn't got the memo and was still asleep. As a result I took two steps and my numb left foot buckled under me and I fell over, much to my surprise and that of the cats. At least the resulting pain woke my foot up. Oh, and one of the cats threw up outside our bedroom during the night. Was this in response to witnessing your accident earlier? Cats... my views on cats are well known. And still you put up a new box, even with a Bloodborn of the Wild picture! Your a hero, Destry.

Morning all, Yesterday I gave a talk to a bunch of 6th formers about Greek Theatre. No idea how it went, I also avoided asking if they kids still say cool. I'm saying I was effectively Seymour Skinner. Later on I neared the end of the Thieves Guild main quest. The varying DLC does pack a punch, with Dawnguard and Dragon born you'll also have vamps and cultists spawn occasionally when you fast travel. £ each of the beggars appeared when I travelled across the map to a non-descript location. Then a troll turned up and eventually a dragon. In the end I wandered off leaving them to kick the hell out of each other. I allowed myself a jaunty smile. You’re not out of touch, Scam. It’s the children who are wrong. Morning all, Yesterday I gave a talk to a bunch of 6th formers about Greek Theatre. No idea how it went, I also avoided asking if they kids still say cool. I'm saying I was effectively Seymour Skinner. Why, there are no children here at the 4H club, either! Am I so out of touch? No, it's the children who are wrong.

Nothing quite like getting a giant's club under the chin. Never seen a video game character fly so far before. And it was me flying. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? It's... a Dragonborn who fancied a slice of mammoth cheese!

Meanwhile at the other place Keza has written up her Nintendo Direct summary but fails to mention the Dark Souls amiibo. Since she is human and as such a fan of Dark Souls and Birmingham City I wanted to ask her whether she was suppressing the information so that she could hog them all, but didn't think that this would make it past the mods.
JBG is there, hooting into the abyss. He still hasn't grasped that we are being premodded.

I need to get over to my mate's and try it out! When you do, and I know I keep banging on about this but it's so weird, find a nice big rock and jump off! Why wait for the VR?

They just looked at me with a slightly bemused expression as I rolled on the floor clutching my foot.

If there's anything to wash, that is.

just for the record, it was flavour-ade, grape flavoured at that. I know this having listened to an extensive podcast about Jonestown. It was quite a horrowing listen.

It was quite a horrowing listen. Yes, off-brand kool aid does sound harrowing.

What do you think the furthest distance is you could fall out of a window and survive? I think two floors up you would probably get away with it, floor three is where the danger lies.

Are we talking a full on leap? Or a hanging off the sill and dropping scenario? Either way I think I'm on board. Second floor with the old tuck and roll you probably be fine. 3rd floor I think broken legs are least.

A tuck and roll from floor two is a bold move but I like it. You are definitely not allowed hang off the sill, this isn't a carry on movie, sonnie.

How many times could you repeatedly jump out of a second floor window?

Reminds me of the Jam sketch where the bloke decides to keep jumping from the first floor window, rather than the top of the building, in case he changes his mind.
I'd find a link but I can't be bothered

How many times could you repeatedly jump out of a second floor window? I know you can manage around 40 leaps from a first floor balcony, if you have assistance getting back up. No idea about the second floor. Edit: I bothered.

I see the burger-flipping robot has had to take a break because it was too slow.
A chance for Scubar to shine, perhaps?

I feel like death warmed up. An exit home is required.
Pray for me, but do not dare to hope.
