Morning all!
I’ve awoken to a true summer’s day. None of this overcast crap.
Back to work today though.
TVblog: Futurama, Loki, Community.

We've done fucked up. We're both working today so the child is currently juggling chainsaws or something. My fault of course.
Dear reader, I asked for holidays as discussed.
Also, i've got a sodding zoom book group to run this afternoon. My copilot is my line manager and I could *really* do without that.

Can we all join the zoom book group. We could do lots of nice puns based on the book in question to impress your line manager for you.

"Bag'o'shite" by crany naw-read-it.
A new author to the world of speculative fiction.
The Windsor Knot by SJ Bennett.
The bookgroup isn't my remit. It got dropped in my lap. I started reading it for a previous bookgroup meeting. That got cancelled and I stopped reading it. There is an argument I'm there to facilitate and you don't need to have read it.

The Romans had f16s? Ancient blogging seems to have changed and I did t think I was that old.

The F16 looks a bit strange for a high performance combat aircraft. It has a big gaping mouth like 'Blakey', from 'On the Buses'.

"So are you all members of the library?"
"No no, we're in a forum crank posts in when skiving work. It's a breakaway from a Guardian forum he used to use when skiving from work."

Have you read the book Felice?
What about the next one "The Devil and the Dark Water" by Stuart Turton?
Someone is coming into cover a maternity leave so I'm not going to have to lead on it going forward hopefully. I don't have as much time to read at the moment and it's pissing me off having to read stuff I don't actually want to.

"On a perfect Spring morning at Windsor Castle, Queen Elizabeth II will enjoy a cup of tea, carry out all her royal duties . . . and solve a murder." Might give it a miss.

Why do you hate our crime fighting monarchy?
If my boss wasn't on today I'd probably suggest she turns to Prince Andrew next.
My name's Ben Elton goodnight...

Prince Harry has the ability to jump out of a chest, dressed as an Obersturmführer, then to feel and articulate great shame for this, many years on.
