Morning,
Classical Music was Hitlers favourite to listen to, interestingly he had zero problem with Rap or Hip Hop so I think Chumbles has got it wrong big time on that one.
This morning I had 6 interviews with candidates participating in the Govs Kickstart program at the local Job Centre, first time we've looked at it for work so I was expecting it could be bad, and it was pretty bad. 4 out of the 6 didnt turn up. The first to attend Had done zero research, seemed to be pretty high and suddenly announced that actually they were going back to college after summer, I asked to do what? They said they couldnt remember.
Against all odds the final guy was really quite nice, came with a lot of enthusiasm and seemed pretty genuine. So it wasnt a complete waste of time.
Tomorrow is my daughters 14th Birthday, bought her a sweet Santa Cruz skateboard that she wanted, nostalgia overload, thankfully I still seem to have the basic coordination needed to show her how to stay on it and get going.

Full disclosure: I bought the Korn album with the doll on the cover in my teen years. I only really liked when I was stoned, but I guess you could say that about most music. I am now sporting the saturated paper noseplug look, as otherwise I would be continually blowing my nose*. It's 33c in here. I would have a cold shower or bath, but because of the bandages all I can do is flannel rubdown with cold water. The nurse reckons I probably have a staph infection. That makes my left leg bleed and hurt like fuck ALL the time. This is on top of all the shit I normally have to deal with. I'm a Chumbles on the edge and I am ready to blow** *I chose my degree course simply because finals fell in December not June; I fell in love with France because S of the Loire whatever triggers my hay fever doesn't grow. **Blow: a) a fuse; b) my noseplugs out; my reputation as a sane, well-intentioned guy***. I had volunteered as a show of good will to help out an event at work a week on Saturday. Turns out I'm now in charge of that event. Have to introduce the cunts working with kids and challenge anyone at the door who doesn't have a mask on. What a pile of shite. "Library dude offends autistic man... Blah blah" headlines are what I envisage. How are the yoot triggering positive covid tests again? lemon juice?
