OTTM: boy is over his friend’s this morning, so now I have 2+ hours to fill. What to do… What have I done? Well, I did think about filming for some more Sweet Content. And I also thought about doing some miniature painting. Alas, next door are having their patio turned into decking, and the clatter of pneumatic drills is all-consuming. So I’ve been on hold with IKEA to return an item. FFS |

Last night a done more gamez. I downloaded 'Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart' from, obviously, that fantastic service called PS Now.
It was an enjoyable few hours of point and click puzzle solving, with a side game of mahjong thrown in to boot. Will try and finish tonight as I spotted the second game in the series was also available to download from the award winning PS Now service.

I sometimes wonder whether I am Victor Meldrew. I received a letter from NRS Healthcare a few days ago telling me that they were going to service my bed today any time from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Now about 6 weeks ago they sent an engineer out to do this; the engineer turned up and was totally ticked off. That was because it didn't "need doing for months."... He went on to tell me that the engineers had 50% more visits than last year. Apparently NRS Wealthcare are deliberately scheduling visits earlier than scheduled because they can charge the local council £35 a visit whether anything was done or not. Besides this trick, they also call off visits earlier than scheduled for individual electrical items so that instead of 1 PATS visit, now two visits or more are scheduled twice a year, doubling the cost to the taxpayers. I have to get up early and ready everything for these jokers by 8 a.m. 4 times a year 'officially' because I have one damned bed with 2 plugs. But because of this scam, so far this year, I've had 5 visits with at least two more to come. |

2 x M&S pork sausages
2 slices of Hovis white bread, buttered
Sausages pan fried
Sausages halved vertically and placed onto bread horizontally
Sandwich halved vertically
No sauce.

I also have a recipe* for a popular dish in Tuffers Towers called 'Sausage Surprise'.
Boodiful.
*any normal one pot recipe, eg. Chilli, stew, casserole etc - just chuck in a packet of oven cooked (so they're verging on crispy) pork sausages, chopped up into thirds, for the last 20 mins. Best in Winter.
