Morning all,
Started out on Crusader Kings 2. Had played the tutorial a good while back so watched a series of beginner-guides on YouTube and started in Salerno.
Going to start again but enjoying it. Feel free to throw any CK2 tips my way.

Watched the first hour of Justice League last night. 3 hours remain. The normal version or the far superior Director's cut version?

My brother and I won two duos matches in a row last night. In the second win I was left to take on the final duo alone while by brother finished off a straggler behind us. They were dug in like an Alabama tick.
Enter Babyfark!

I don't think I've watched any of the other DC films, so maybe that's why. In that version there is much more of an effort to establish an Avengers style franchise, there is more focus on Cyborg's back story (although I don't think he was any of the other films) and there are also trying to introduce a hierarchy of evil characters above Steppenwolf. The plot is at times a real mess, but I will try not to spoil anything if he have yet to finish it. It is still miles better then the flaccid original Joss Whedon version.

Morning to you,
Trucking on with Demons. I'm having some real issues with Flamelurker and Maneater though.
Even if I sing the lyrics, Maneater still attacks me. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I'd leave Maneater until you have done world 4 and world 5 in full. The silverblack shield you get from Garl Vinland in 5-3 stops the magic attacks.
You need to isolate the Maneaters and take them on one at a time. Unless you are a filthy magic user. In which case you can catch them both with Firestorm But if that doesn't kill them they will be angry. If you fight both of them together you'll either get smashed up or pushed off the bridge. Or most likely both.
The best way is to run past the first one, go round the pedestal and creep to the far end. Mostly he will lose track of you. If he doesn't try it again. You get 4 or 5 attempts to lose him. You need the Thief's Ring on. You can then fight the second one so long as you don't use the central pedestal to hide behind. Silverblack shield stops magic damage. Stab. Avoid his charge attack. Don't roll or get pushed off the bridge. If you cut off his tail it makes it easier.
For the remaining one you can use the central pedestal to block his attacks. Then stab him. Don't get greedy.
The second maneater occasionally pisses off and doesn't reappear. If that happens you can't win the fight. It still happens on PS5. I think he ends up under the bridge and his tracking stops him getting back up. It is incredibly frustrating.

Flamelurker Purple Flame shield from the dragon area in 1-1. Use a pillar to hide behind and don't get greedy. 1-2 hit and back round the pillar.
Take plenty of herbs. If he does hit you it can be pretty hard.

Flamelurker was a great scrap. I managed to duff him up after a couple of attempts with my Kilij + 8 and I think a flame resistant shield (can't remember).
Maneaters though. They can fuck the fuck off. Awful. After about a dozen, probably a lot more, thrashings I finally managed to kill one. Right that's it then, one on one, a fair fight against the other. Then the other one just flew away and fucked off. After waiting about 30 mins I realised it wasn't coming back and the game had glitched so had to reload. Thankfully got the win a couple of tries later.

"Don't get greedy" - If ever there was sound Souls advice, this is it.
I'm a knight class, going toe to toe. I prefer it that way.
Managed to get +4 quality winged spear, +4 dragon mirdan hammer and +3 crushing claymore. Also the +3 crescent falchion of course.
Currently on 4-3 and 5-2 so I'll keep on with these for the time being.

Sees enemy is one hit from death. Stabs enemy. Misses. Or finds it was two hits. Gets walloped right back by enemy. Dies. Repeat

I like to offer a comprehensive Demons Souls service. And you do. I'd not played the Ps3 version. The best advice was the farming spot after you beat the Tower Knight. Herbs galore. I'd struggled up to then. That was when everything opened up for me. Also a part where you track back into a dungeon to get a secret bit of loot. I think I might play it again..

Tuffers You should do NG+. It is quite the experience the first time through. I'm nearly at the end of NG second time round. I'm going to do all the cracked world stuff. Playing left handed is very odd. I struggle with the timings.
That is the character is left handed. I couldn't play actually left handed.
