It's really bad here in Sheffield, all buses pretty much suspended and I bet nursery is shut tomorrow. They will probably let me know after I have got up 5.15am to trek to town for my morning train.

Snow is "bad" here in Northamptonshire. By bad I mean bad for these soft southern jessies, me and Mrs Zord have just gotten on with the business of, oh I don't know, not panic buying 6 4 pinters of milk and a pack of 2 liter bottles of water like we saw a bloke doing this morning?
In gaming news: yes I am playing games.

There was a light dusting here this morning but it's all gone now. The wind though is bitter. Cut you in two.
Games. GTA Sold a couple of cars and bought the armoured kuruma. Much better for solo missions.
Did a few missions for randoms. The one where you take the velum from the vargos was hilarious. The "leader" was a level 15 and couldn't fly the plane. So obviously he made himself the pilot. We killed all the vargos. He then took the plane and crashed it. Several times. I felt for him as we were openly laughing down our mics. He wouldn't restart though and swap out for someone who could fly.
This morning we've been swimming.

Down south snow is back and gone again. Snowed all day yesterday and nothing settled, overnight and it ended up with an inch everywhere and now it's mostly gone.
Windsor yesterday, posh people don't seem to donate good books to charity but those big fluffy bear hats do look warm. Bear hats available in Skyrim?

I picked up a first edition Silmarillion and an early edition of Philosophers stone (young dumbledore cover) from a Charity shop. The shop I get them from pulps books that look old. I hate that.

Hello.
Games: none. My dragon encounter at Whiterun must wait.
Snow: some
TV: X Filles s11 e7: 'Rm9sbG93ZXJz' - an enjoyable (albeit slight) piece of hokum.*
Tea: Chicken Satay stir-fry with Noodles.
Tomorrow: We (Mrs D and I) are heading to sunny (snowy?) Dorset for five days. Weather permitting.
* The episode title, “Rm9sbG93ZXJz,” is (apparently) Base64 code for the word “Followers.”

Mrs Cranks folks are coming over this evening for round two of new kitchen chat. I'm hoping it doesn't take 3hrs like last time. Gaming hour may be cancelled. I also need to set up a VPN client on a new router.
Sunday, Bloody Sunday...

Only today did I become aware of the Six Nations outcome. Oops.
We were promised more snow, but so far it hasn't materialised. Conditions are tolerable, although our grocery delivery got delayed this morning.
I read about the Cambridge Analytica files and Russians stress testing the energy grid. The latter might explain our frequent power cuts. I'm pretty sure it's Putin who's personally cutting the cable that leads to our road, the bastard.
I bought Super Mario Run while it's still half price (to celebrate Mario Day, MAR10) and Lost Sphear while on offer. Should have been discounted even further because of the spelling, but I'll let it slide for now. This gave me also a reason to use up my 'My Nintendo' Gold coins. Having them expire at the end of each month while only offering discounts on games I either already had or didn't want was getting tedious.
Dinner: Shepherd's pie, made from only the freshest shepherds.
Skyrim, here I come.

Skyrimming last night, got two people to make up with the head vampire killer guy and join the dawnguard, only for him to be a massive racist about the vampire lady. Who saw that coming? I also completed a bit more of the story, only so I can now go full on Fus-Ro-Dah and send cutlery flying across the room.
Today I have been to a Sleeping Beauty afternoon tea. It was lovely. Now for some more Skyrimming!

I had my first game of Fortnite for around a fortnight and accidentally selected squad mode instead of solo. I therefore decided to sack off my team and go on a killing spree. Managed to gun down three people before some sod sniper got me. I have been playing around with the video function and managed to capture the first two kills below. The third was probably better as I got it with the AR from some way off.

I have a Platinum on Rime. I'm basically the best. Because I'm not an absolute ponce, I hated the game and didn't get anything out of it. Only a total emotional wreck of a human being could find anything worthwhile in Rime. You'd have to have the emotional resilience of a soft boiled egg that had just seen its mother die in order to be affected by Rime. It's just sentimental tripe for emo snowflakes. Absolute dirge of a pile of of cloying trite. Dreadful stuff. If anyone needs me I'll be sobbing loudly in the recovery tent, rending my shirt and beating my breast.
