Chatterbox Wednesday

I just scoffed a packet of Golden Wonder spring onion full flavoured crisps. Boodiful.

Anyway.

Today I've been mainly out of sorts. All this time I've been mainly living on microwavable meals for dinner that Jeff Fresh delivered, which, I must admit, are pretty good. However, there were a few items left in the fridge that I wanted to use up so that they didn't end up in the bin, because waste I want not. This included a packet of bacon rashers with a use by date of yesterday that I just never managed to give a chance.

Then at dinner time I still wasn't feeling those bacon rashers and decided to have them for brunch today with toast, egg, baked beans* and orange juice.

So instead I chucked a pizza into the oven. As soon as it was done, the phone rang and I switched off the oven but left the door closed because I didn't want the pizza to go cold.

Once the phone call was finished I had the pizza, which could only be described as "mildly incinerated". I should have realised that this here oven is a lot more efficient than my own one at home. Still, better going than a few evenings ago when I was trying to use up some stir fry veg by making a stir fry and setting the smoke alarm off in the progress. I've been told it's very sensitive.

Brunch was necessary because I got up late today after watching another post-midnight BOTW stream. Another one tonight, pray for Tent Hen.

I don't think I'll be needing any food for the next 3 days now. If anyone wants me, I'll be hibernating.

*Heinz BBQ beans, never had them before. Not convinced. 4 stars.

The child seemed to have an ok first day back at school. Was rather tired.

My hope that AZ Alkmaar whoever they are would thrash Celtic seems misplaced. I've nothing against the hoops per se, but I knew it would fuck off all the maskless supporters on my train tonight.

Was sorry to hear about Sean Lock. He always had a mischievous smile and was very funny. A great loss.

Have to say I'm really enjoying the new Marvel "What if...?" series.
