I now realize that I am a very very bad person ...
Bloody hell Chumbles. Only one of my favourite chapters/levels in any game of all time. The Winter section of TLOU is ruddy brilliant. It's much 'lighter' than TLOU2.
I still haven't replayed TLOU2 since last summer, a truly traumatic game, a masterpiece, but, erm, pretty grim in parts. Needs a 21 rating!
Just about to dive into The Evil Within 2. Only played the intro last night. Was a bit tipsy*
*flipping spannered.
OTTM, Gamepass is a winner for Xbox. Earlier I played NHL in what is a remake (not remake as such) of the classic NHL 1994 Sega mega drive(?) game. Tremendous. I couldn't work out how to play it. Was a bit drunk.
Explanation: This variant of Diplomacy is The Ancient Mediterranean ... It's at a critical stage as purple guy has just kicked green guy in the nuts at position 2, by grabbing Sinope and can now support his naughty Persian armies into Cherr.. Crimea. This means that Grecian boys at position 1 - Sarmatia and Dacia will be needed to block the satraos
I foresaw this last move and occupied Sicily - p5 - as Rome, my long term asset, is very quickly becoming a major nuisance so not only did I nick Sicily, I'm going to grab Rome by the Naples; p6 attack is unstoppable. But pissing off Rome means I need to support Vindabona and Venetia and move - p6 - Rhaetia - to Etruria so that the neo-Neapolitans and my Tyrrhenian Sea Punic Marines will have 3 units next to Rome
I am also going to boot Persia out of Bayuda at p3... at p4 I'm supporting Crete so Persia doesn't grab it. I may bot get into Cyrene at p4, but Persia can't either and I think the Purple peril will most likely try to force the Libyan Sea. But that Gulf of Tacape to Messenian Sea move is a beautiful bastard as it's a can opener for both Greece and stuffs up Persian expansion.

Morning, Went to Victorious festival yesterday for some super-spreading. Really made me realise how much I'd missed all that stuff: live music, generic lager in paper cups, paying 12 quid for a burger and chips, watching middle-aged women squatting to take a piss in the middle of a field in front of thousands of people.

4 stars would recommend.
'Cause, darling, I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream
The boy had a sleepover at his nan’s house, so we got dinner from our favourite Japanese/Korean restaurant delivered. ALL the sushi. A post-dinner walk was required.
TVblog: it would have been the perfect opportunity to watch a long film. But instead we just watched more Futurama, Community, and The Good Place.
Amigablog: a replacement switchbox arrived thanks to Jeff (dropped it in while flying over in his linus-rocket). It may well be a higher-quality output than the previous one… In other news, my brother has actually received a timely response from the Amiga company he bought his faulty scart cable from. This is completely at odds with what the wider Amiga community say about said firm.
