Well that is good news. An HMV. A real relic of the old world. I will definitely visit I went to HMV Vault Brum on Monday. Their pricing of vinyl records is ambitious. There are lots of them. I wonder who is paying a £10 tax on top of Jeff's prices though. I'm hoping to visit a distillery or 2 as well. My eye is on Pitlochry as the ideal spot for that. I am also hoping to have a small teacake at Scone. This would be very pleasing. I would've suggested a pint, but unfortunately i am away down south this weekend. NB the local football devotees will be raging this weekend after they sold their best 2 players for peanuts hours before the window slammed shut last night. If you see any sobbing farmers with Pimms stains all over their Barbour jackets, that'll be why. |

The best set I have are open back sennheisers - but no use as you say if the pm is about.
I have a set of Bose noise cancelling ones as well - but they are made of pleather and get too sweaty. I also have some sennheiser DJ headphones, a set of gaming headphones, two sets of Bluetooth ones for my phone and assorted wired earplugs for phones. I'm currently contemplating a set of Jabra elite 75t earbuds as they're bringing out a new model and slashed the price on the old ones.

Gaming with open backed headphones is surely an absolute no if someone else is around.
They will get to hear all the terrible dialogue and music with extra tinniness.
Crank only listens to cool music from obscure EDM labels so any sound he leaks is bound to be cool.

The only place I know/have visited in Perth is the AK Bell library and the train station. The PM's uncle still lives there as her folks are from Perth originally. He read the Guid Buke continuously in his assiduous research for quotes that would reveal the sinfulness of his fellows and how the least expression of unguarded pleasure would lead to the fallen one dragging the fule down into the pits of "lust, damnation and the roaring fires of eternal damnation". He was a nasty, thorough-going cunt. I'm not surprised his daughter took the first opportunity to dive into a bottle of Whisky and stay there until her liver failed. It was a long time before I realized that most Scots are friendly, hospitable folk! |

I hve been to Perth once before. No one I spoke to there seemed to have fully curdled the milk of human kindness. Though they had not previously spoken to me, so there is a possibility it may have happened since.

Morning
First day of solo WFH while 'tending' the puppy as well as the old dog.
Much work did not get done, and the foam pop-shield off my headset mic has been eaten. Only trod on the puppy once, which is surprising the amount of time it has been hanging off my trouser-cuff.
Chilli for tea, as it's a bit nippy out, and I've had no lunch.
