Ni No Kuni is a game? I always assumed it was some sort of filthy in-joke.

I loved Ni No Kuni. Finished in 113 hours, but there was still a load of post game stuff that I didn’t get around to finishing.
I’d seen an early demo at a Japanese Expo and of the four games at the PlayStation booth, there was no one playing this. I picked it up and loved it. Waited another year for it to be released and devoured it.
I am a big Ghibli fan and a big RPG fan, but one of my complaints over the years has been how complex such RPGs we’re becoming. NNK pared back all that cruft back and presented a game that was very accessible.
Like the review, the first two or three hours are on rails before the world really opens up, and again opening further ‘post game’ , but I do feel that immerses you as a player in the world.
I’m really looking forward to this.

Morning.
Bit more new kitchen chat last night. Then ate pizza and made lunch for today.
Tv. None. Film. None.
Games. Bit of GTA. Did a few solo missions and a couple of VIP missions. Did some delivering/collecting for some guy in a quiet lobby.
Then the French arrived.
Hydra and deluxo wanker blowing up shit. The deluxo wanker - level 435 - took a dislike to being called a deluxo wanker. She (her name on her ps account was female) killed me repeatedly even though I'd stopped trying.
My pal arrived so I pissed off with him - but after death 16 I was about to start streaming it for a laugh to see how long they'd hang about killing me before they got bored. By doing that the deliveries got through an I got paid so wasn't bothered.
Tonight I think something different. Properly start Ratchet & Clank.

Yep, you definitely showed them.. @r&C it holds up really well, I loved it. Shorter than I remember, but i went straight back into NG+, with new super guns and harder enemies it's still fun.

Making my way through X Files season 3. Spotted that the 15 year old was from Firefly and Supernatural.
A problem has arisen. Scully is doing my pants in, not in a sexy way.
After two years working with Mulder and experiencing first hand all sorts of weird things, she is still saying "thats not possible".
At what point do you learn that actually its perfectly possible considering some of the stuff we have already dealt with.

Should Ant McPartlin now be stripped of his OBE?

Showing the futility of war blah blah. I joke.
Was i pwned? She used f&f homing missiles on the truck and my car. No skills whatsoever after getting the lock on.
Then she was sniping me with explosive rounds - skills? - yeah, sure.
Where's the point in repeatedly killing someone who is standing around not even fighting back. "Lolz I killed this guy 16 times"
Hardly one on one. Would she have killed me if I'd foougbt back - probably, definitely as she's miles better than me.
She wanted me to go passive or leave.I wouldnt. I was wondering how long she would have continued before giving it up. Streaming someone killing me 50 times while I emptied the dishwasher would have amused/bemused me.

Morning all,
After catching up on yesterday's posts I can confirm that I did say I really enjoyed Ni No Kuni, mainly for the jaunty music. Never finished it though.

I appreciated the Sir Hiss reference. Much better than the snake from Jungle Book. that was also the voice of Winnie the Pooh. Sir Hiss was Terry-Thomas.
