Chatterbox Thursday

It tends to go into one ear and out the other because I don't believe any of it until I see it. To me a MGS remake seems unlikely because of the acrimonious split between Kojima and Konami and because Konami is finding it difficult to get their sh*t together these days. On the other hand Konami needs to do something with their intellectual property, so rumours of a new Silent Hill game have been around for some time and I'm finding that more credible.

I would have thought that a new Spider Man game is inevitable. Otherwise it's just wishful thinking, like a Bloodborne sequel. It's certainly possible. A YouTuber I watch recently put out a poll asking which franchise Sony will revive at today's showcase; the options were 1) Sly Cooper, 2) Resistance, 3) Jak and Daxter, 4) Socom, and 5) Twisted Metal. (The result was that people thought all of them were in with more or less of a chance.)

But I think I know what the final big PS5 game reveal will be.

I’d say silent hull is less likely after all that bollocks from Abandoned trying to pretend it was a silent hill game.

I wasn’t planning on buying many games this month but ps5 quality cans of monster in Death stranding is too good to pass up on.

It's stopped chucking it down here [edit: and now started again] but Mr Tiddles's niece sure could have picked a nicer day to get married. Congrats to the happy couple anyways.

I've just completed an emergency Ocado order with a delivery tomorrow because my bread supplies didn't survive the hot weather earlier this week.

This is how I discovered that at Ocado all frozen food is out of stock. I say all, but actually a few things are still available. I don't want to be prejudiced but I think it's fair to assume that vegan beetroot and kale burgers and frozen "Christmas gyoza" (with bacon, turkey, cranberry and sage!) aren't usually bestsellers. But if you were hoping to buy frozen chips, vegetables or pizza, you are out of luck. No ice cream, either, except for a few vegan fruit ice lollies.

I'm so glad that Britain has taken back control.

And leave the rest of us with the Christmas gyoza?? No need to consult your moral compass later, you are a monster.

A look at the Ocado Twatter account reveals that this has been going on for the last 6 days and is due to a shortage of dry ice, so Shengers can still get his beetroot and kale burgers as long as he's happy that they are slightly defrosted.
