Hello. Trains are running late. Going to be a fight for coffee in Pret before the train.
We watched Vigil last night. Scottish folk online moaning about continuity between parts of Glasgow. Maybe suspend belief ya Fannies - you don't hear folk from London or LA or NY going on about it.
Played a few street races in GTA after. I was terrible. Need drifting tyres for my motor.
Busy day. Can't be arsed.. what's new!

Morning all,
Got XCOM2 at the weekend. I played the first one some time ago. It's been a learning curve.

Hello all, and welcome to Mondaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhy.
TVblog: new series of Archer, great as always. And then the last episode of The Looming Tower. If only the CIA had given the FBI the details they’d been asking for in March 2000, then maybe, just maybe, all of the horror and grief of the last 20 years could have been avoided. Maybe.
Carblog: visited family in Hastings yesterday, with a pub lunch and some blackberry-picking also thrown in to the mix. ~120 mile trip in total, the longest I’ve driven the EV for so far. And it performed wonderfully. An amazing car.

The morning commute of walking down the stairs went well, even had time for coffee on the way to the desk.

On the trains again! Something appears to have gone wrong with the train! Top banana!
No rod hull yet thanks to the face mask.

Morning all.
Watched "The Suicide Squad"* last night, really lots of fun. 4*
*Though I'd didn't hate "Suicide Squad".

The Northern line reaching to these bits of South London. Spent two hours sorting Microsoft teams so now able to be distracted instead of working.

A lot of these names are misleading. Oxford Circus has neither clowns nor dreaming spires and don't get me started on the disappointing lack of après ski events at Swiss Cottage.

Morning. I watched Zero Dark Thirty. I liked the gritty realism but found Chastain's character a bit annoying when she went all hysterical in front of her superiors, because I expect that's not how the CIA operate.
OTTM: I shaved my beard off.

Hi
Full sun, clear blue sky, not a cloud in sight. 21° and set for the week! Global warming my arse. Oh.
I've not yet caught leprosy from any of the unclean in my house, although I was up in the night with stomach pains which are still coming and going.
Just because it was on E4, I watched Battle of the 5 Armies. Maybe I have dragon sickness. 4 minus 2 stars.
OTTM, no.

Elephant and castle suddenly seems interesting if both were there. Sun's out but bit of a breeze keeping it cool.

OTTM: I shaved my beard off. I'm going to have a shave, the first for 10 days.
I'll be using a Gillette Mach 3 with foam and a single bladed razor for the tricky bit around the mole under my lip. Of note will be the deployment of my reading glasses in the hunt for errant hairs that survive the initial cull. Of course, the nasal passages and ears will also receive due attention.

I just used an electric shaver, the beard was gone in 5 minutes. Wet shaves give me a bad rash.

I will, if I am lucky, get my treatment today. It was witched to today, because of tomorrow's operation... Rang this morning - No. It wasn't - the manager forgot. Once the entire saga is over, I might bore you about this... saga

Some people haven't read "Neverwhere". Never seen the TV series, either. Kanepedia tells me that Freddie Jones was playing The Earl. Thanks for the reading tip.
