Felice there, criticising people who call out dated films for normalising and glamourising rape.

It was more saying the director of the current film is doing it for publicity.
I'm not sure Felice is entirely right. The director probably does on a surface level believe he's saying the right thing.
But it does also feel like a cynical. publicity thing.
