Morning, goldfish botherers!
Today things didn't go as planned. Yesterday evening I got yet again a notification that Twitch streamer friend was streaming. I checked whether he was streaming BOTW. He wasn't, he was streaming Lost in Random, which is such a Burton-esque game that surely the devs must be paying royalties to the man. So I had dinner first and then joined the stream sometime later that evening. As it turned out, streamer was hellbent on finishing the game, which he did at around one o'clock in the morning. So again I didn't get all the sleep I deserve.
I missed bits of it including the beginning but it's definitely a nice enough game. Great voice acting, mainly good character design and writing (thanks for the inspiration, Tim), inventive combat mechanics, lack of enemy variety. The story from what I gathered is interesting but I found the ending abrupt and disappointing. Maybe I was getting grumpy because it was late.
Got up and found that the neighbours had once more swiped my bin, so I had to go and steal it back.
Already in the morning I got a message from Ocado that my lunchtime delivery would be most likely delayed "due to a technical issue at the warehouse". I was assuming that the driver had to hunt down an open petrol station. So I was delaying having lunch until I got a phone call from the driver at 3 p.m. telling me that he wouldn't be able to deliver today. Phoned customer services, rearranged redelivery for tomorrow, finally had lunch.
Then I was too full to have dinner. There's a BOTW stream coming up later this evening during which I will probably get hungry because I haven't had dinner. This is unsatisfactory.
Games (actually played by me): ACNH and not much else.

Isn't this the same as my neighbour stealing* our food bin, as I described earlier this year? I may or may not wait at home until the bin people have been and then dart out to retrieve said bin, this is normal** behaviour as far as I'm concerned. *or they just picked up the nearest one. **Pref.Mam. thinks I'm being an idiot, what do they know they're living*** with me. ***by their own choice.

I currently have 8 (eight) wheelie bins on my front drive. I'm a real big shot round these parts. In reality, we all get 4 bins each. Garden, bottles/cans, paper, general. But next door are having their drive redone so asked* if they could put them on ours.
*put them there first, then asked.
Little do they know I've been occasionally** putting my waste (not that) in their bins.
**just once so far, I chickened out earlier as I thought I saw their curtains twitch (not that).
