God knows what's happening - 9 a.m. podiatrist visit hasn't taken place and their office has taken the phone off the hook. I'll be honest, I simply cannot remember how long they are overdue become it's closing on two months. So that's at least another week. [edit: And I am not off the hook, Nursey is a coming... I have the M.A.S.H. Theme song as an earwig atm] |

I had a very productive day yesterday. Watched 9 episodes of the Mandalorian, and then Snowpiercer.
I couldn't get on with Tilda Swinton's character in Snowpiercer. It felt like an Austin Powers tribute, and was a bit jarring* with the tone of the film.
*my face is a bit jarring / jar *this* etc.

Visited the local Halfords yesterday for some glass cleaner. Idly thought i'd see how much some replacement wipers would be, so put my details into the parts finder...…
Screen goes red and tells me my MOT ran out 2 months ago.
Sauntered out while whistling to myself... ooops.
Another reason to not go into the office this week....

Things must be bad as I've put the heating on. What's that? I now owe British Gas all my money? But I only put it on this morning! "Pay up scumbag or we take the house". Oh.
Watched a replay of the Fury fight last night, on a slightly iffy quality video. Brutal stuff. Makes me glad I'm such a cowardly wimp.
Had bangers, mash, brocolli, carrots, cheat aunt Bessie Yorkies and gravy last night. It was glorious. The bangers were Tesco finest pork sausages, and they were indeed.

Not quite at your level, but last night on my way back from the co-op, out of the blue I thought to myself 'I wonder when the MOT is due'. Turns out it expired last Saturday. I'm now booked in for service and MOT next Monday (earliest they could do - brexit now etc) |

If your MOT is overdue how do you get your car to the MOT shop to have it MOTed? Its a catch 22 situation. Although if you were pulled over by the police you could just say you were driving to your MOT surely?
