I'm not crying.....just something in my eye.
School visit went well. Got called a fake by a few kids, tough crowd. Lots of mixed abilities but they all seemed to enjoy it.
I access via my phone so no idea how to attach pics. Otherwise I'd do so.

Change your browser to "desktop mode" Upload the images to imgugr. Then put it in the bin and get a nice steak instead.

Morning, bake off and the right person went. Games, far cry and animal given missions. Still trying to sort out kit and weapons, this ammo thing and extra mods is too much when it's mindless shooting I'm after. OTTM,road resurfacing has consisted of putting 2 new layers of asphalt (micro asphalt?) Down and leaving it for someone else to paint. The 2 cars left on the road got towed which brightened Monday morning.

I've been given the wrong coffee. I've been given a mocha or something made with squirrel milk or some such nonsense. Far too sweet. Will drink anyway. Yeah, it's a mocha. Christ. How do people drink these? Perverts.
Hello. No TV. Ended up being persuaded to hop on GTA for an hour at 10pm to finish a mission. Got to bed at half twelve. Blerg. Jumped the prison fence in my car to carry out some assasinations. Top fun. Take that copper. Boom.
Going to a branch library to wait on a Virgin engineer install "superfast" broadband.

Year 3s are an interesting bunch, some get the concept that I am talking about the past and others don't. Each year I'll get a couple of kids ask if I knew their grandads who fought in the war. Then you'll get a question about Roman concrete or something. Keeps me on my feet. What has been a highlight was working with some kids who have disabilities or learning issues. Some of them interact very differently. Had a kid who was practically blind a few years ago. To him the armour was a series of sounds, I sat wirh him and his worker over their break and he was describing how it sounded. Then I found some recordings of a Carnyx with his worker on YouTube - this was very popular!

That header is a thing of beauty. Wonderful stuff.
Morning all.
TVblog: GBBO, and yes, that person deserved to go. Later on, after some gaming, The Orville.
Gamesblog: an evening with the CD32! I was finally able to give Inviyya a play, an R-Type style game only released this year, and one which is the creation of a single man. It’s very good. Then some Quik the Thunder Rabbit, an attempt at a Sonic game on the Amiga. It’s… average, but was starting to grow on me. And finally some PGA European Tour. That was good fun. Ended the full-round at +14 over par (86 vs 72 par), more than happy with that for a first attempt.

The one time I had to speak to a school class they were P6 (age 10 ish), so a bit easier I guess. Still, the randomness of the questions they asked was not easy. The looks of utter contempt I was getting from a few of them didn't help.

Morning.
Busy at work, cloudy with a bit of sun out.
May go for a roast pork sandwich later.
Is Squid Games any good?

Hullo.
Played a bit of co-op Back4Blood last night, seems decent.
Started watching Squid Games, interesting.
OTTDM: Had a bad dream last night, shouting in my sleep etc... I won't bother you with what it was about but I'm fudging depressed today.

Tiddles
Stuck in the chatterbox forever? Some dreams cannot be forgotten
In a previous job one of my coworkers admitted to being furious with her boyfriend for a week after she dreamt that he dumped her. He hadn't and had no intention of doing so (She was way out of his league).

Similar to Valhalla but without skill unlocks. Like a very shiny far cry 3 with pets. Not very far in yet, lots of walking to get between anything with the usual ubisoft collectables etc.

Tiddles Stuck in the chatterbox forever? It wasn't that bad.
I fully endorse Back4Blood. Mowing down hordes of zombies with an M249 never gets old.*
*Also hooting "On me, on meeeee!" to your buddies as you die face down in the mud.

Top tip: bad dream, get your PM to belt you with a pillow so you can wake up, have a cup of whatever, listen to some annoying shites without a couple of functional brain cells talk to Dotun on 5 live. Or listen to your TurtleBeaches do their thang

I downloaded Quake for the PS5 last night.
The original from the 1990s with some remastered graphics
It is still very much Doom 2 +
Four stars Recommended

Morning!
Yesterday I spent several hours choosing birthday presents for all of my grandkids. 3 out of 4 have their birthday on 2 consecutive days and the odd one out has a birthday virtually indistinguishable from Christmas. Once more I have familiarised myself with the finer points of Lego and dinosaurs. Say what you want about that old TERF J.K. Rowling, all that overpriced Harry Potter rubbish makes gifting very easy now that the unicorn phase seems to have passed.
After that I spent several hours backseat driving in another BOTW stream.
No time for my own games, so no getting murdered by robots and alien wildlife.

Most of us aren't allowed to have two day birthdays.
Did you get the free prezzies from Amazon at Brindley Place?
