I have never been to Nandos.
I am incredibly comfortable with this.

My dad went to Nando’s for the first time last week. Said it was too spicy, despite having the blandest chicken possible.
Later, under questioning, he admitted to having drenched the thing in one the the sauces.
Case closed.

It's not that I am a snob. I have been to Wetherspoons.
It's just that well I am a snob. I went to a farm shop that sells free range pork and chicken on Sunday. They do an incredible range of gourmet sausages. The garlic ones are the best. Even better than the chilli ones.

Why is Nando's so bafflingly popular with professional footballers, such as Crouchy and his ilk? Surely they could afford Five Guys at least?

I hve been to Five Guys or possibly Bryson.
It was ok. Not memorable enough to remember which it was.

The chips at Five Guys are excellent. Even Big George Lucas will hold his hands up to that.

I've never watched Avatar and the only association I have is that as PM Gordon Brown claimed that he had enjoyed watching it to make himself more relatable. You used to go out with Gordon Brown? You kept that quiet. Oh, I see what you mean. I've never seen Avatar or had a Nandos.

I remember reading a comment about Avatar. For a film which was commercially successful it has no cultural footprint.
No famous lines, or characters. In fairness I haven't seen it, is it referenced in line with how big it was?

Jurassic Park has the biggest footprint of any film.

I once marked an exam where a first year Ancient History student had answered the question
"What is extispicy?"
with
"My favourite flavour at Nando's"
I am deeply ashamed to admit that I awarded them no points but stole their line.

I had a mixed doner/fries/salad box from the German kebab place. Standing in a doorway in the rain in central Glasgow eating it like a bum. Hmm. Perhaps I should rephrase that as it sounds like I was rimming the box.
Got the PM some nice chocs & prosecco for Fri. Hopefully Jeff sorts out something else.

Evening
Just bashed in the Lake monster boss at the end of RE4 chapter 1-3. What have you ever done?
Now an interlude whilst I watch some footy balls.

Woah. After long last the review of Metroid Dread has come in at The Other Place and FRANK has already entered berserker mode. In the time it took me to write my own comment he culled 6 out of 11 posts. That's got to be some kind of record.

Quite rightly.

Supposed to be putting ram/ssd in a pals laptop tonight. I've replaced the drive but the ram can do one. It's on the underside of the PCB and requires removing a LOT of the laptop. Told him to return the stick to Jeff.
Asus being total cunts in their design.

And a really good short Star Wars film in 4k. (I seem to remember a book and/or film where the lizard- like alien and human crash land and they cooperate o survive - it's old; rather like me and I can't be assed to hunt it down.)

Is Nandos one of those bad dudes from Star War IIV? I so, I don't like him.
