TVblog: watched an episode of The Orville which was truly star-studded, and another one directed by Jonathan Frakes. MacFarlane really makes use of his Hollywood connections.

I'll be watching 'The Nissan Micra Nutbanger 500', where a cash prize is donated to the first contestant who can withstand having his testicles slammed in a car door 500 times in a row.
Followed by 'Pro-Celebrity Pointing'. This week: Pointing at a dog.

New PUBG game comes out soon and straight to mobile. Looks like PUBG on PC and console has been abandoned. Ridiculous really, the Steam version alone had more than 1 million concurrent players at one point.

Nursey is due some time to remind me of the pleasures having my legs cleaned and massaged. They are likely to be amateurs - there vacancies are now at 30% even with new staff coming in. And let's not forget the delightful agency nurses who tend to have the bedside manner of an undertaker.
The government may be putting more cash in for recruitment, but retention has been and increasingly is a bigger problem. The churn rate means that fewer and fewer experienced nurses are left. Even the new nurses, once they get experienced also decamp to hospitals, surgeries or become pregnant in order to get off the stressful treadmill. The conditions which this government has created through willing to trade lives and persistent long covid in order to pursue their dogmatic adherence to a flawed economic model.

What happened to poor David Jay? I fear that by the time they got to name him they had exhausted their imagination with made up names like Avary Kent and Zeke Hausfather. But that's alright because nothing will ever beat Zeke Hausfather.

That's true, they put some effort into Avary, Zeke and Tavi, but clearly thought an asexual activist who was unclear how children are made was outlandish enough and so named him Dave.
