I got the Kenny Everett question wrong. Fortunately there's always the German history question to get a me at least one point.
After a very long time without scam calls I received two today. Ironically they were both about how get rid of unwanted calls. Fortunately I already know how (pressing #2 gets the number blocked by my little anti nuisance call device).
Because of low staffing levels at my milk supplier their service has once more become hit and miss. Two weeks ago they collected the empties but didn't deliver milk and left an apology card with the promise of a refund. Tuesday morning they didn't collect the empties but delivered a pint of milk with the foil on top pretty far pushed in. This morning they had collected the empties but not delivered any milk, so I phoned them to have a moan about the level of service. The phone was answered by Ryan who had a lovely Scottish accent but... spoke... really... really... slowly.
He claimed that the milk this morning must have been stolen because they never collected empties if they didn't deliver at the same time (first time I've heard that one) but he graciously arranged a refund for the two missed deliveries. After that he told me very, very slowly in great detail about every single day during the Christmas period when they won't be delivering. I was surprised to find that by the end of the conversation it wasn't already the new year and the Steam Deck still hadn't come out.
Vidja gamez: bit of the Crossing the Animals but I still haven't had time to check out the new features.

Alcohol and heavy meds sounds like a bad idea but could be considered not too bad if it's interactions not had before.
Scots having a few drinks sounds like operating at normal levels.
Disrespectful to be drunk at work, at least they were doing work as MPs rather than their own side hustle. Haven't a few Tories been done for drunkenness and assaulting people in the bars at parliament? Don't see how anyone comes out looking good and does seem a bit of a smear or trying to find anything to throw attention away from what they have been up to.

It's over; Hassan Ali will go down as the loser of this game and the Aussies are through to the final. But in truth I feel Pakistan's captain, Babar Azam, stopped thinking and failed to change tactics. Easily the best listen of the tournament and by the end I was cheering for both sides. I sooo hoped that a mistake wouldn't decide it.
