hi
I made a toasted cheese sandwich using mayonnaise without butter today. Well actually it was Vegannaise…
The bread fused to the pan so the sandwich required vigilance for the structure to remain intact.
It was ok but I won’t be rushing to do it again.

Does the toasted sandwich work with sensible Mayo and not the vegan stuff? Ass vikings and all the side bits are a bit annoying, so many things to clear before moving on to a new area. Three episodes of amazons wheel, can’t really remember any of it so that’s not a great review. Gave up on the books after a few as well.
Maybe an episode of foundation while the PM is out for lunch with friends, doing the lifts so no lunchtime drinking here.

His post match interview effectively said he hadn't a clue what was going on... David de Gea pulled the trigger: "We don't know what to do with the ball, we are conceding a lot of goals. It's a horrible moment," I think that they have to reorganise the club. It's structure seems to have a lot of guys above the manager who have power, but are never held to account.

I am also roasting a chicken for lunch. Mine is for dinner. Let it cool, carve, take all the meat off the carcass. Then at dinner I only have to concentrate on everything else.

Does the toasted sandwich work with sensible Mayo and not the vegan Yes. Even "light" mayo. Vegan alternatives to things have their place, but...

I had a toasted cheese sandwich for lunch. It was vegetarian, but only because there is no meat in the house. I will remedy that later.

Lunch will be soup; I've been chorsing since 4.30 a.m. and I have a couple of things to do first. On a short break as my legs don't do more than an hour or two; 10m then go again. I came across this heart-warming* story *Yes, I still have one...

Cheese and ham panini for lunch. Chicken roasted and stripped.

I actually think vegan mayonnaise is much nicer than egg-based mayonnaise. Maybe not for a toasted sandwich but there is butter for that.

Hellmans light Mayo has less fat/sat fat than butter and I can spread it thinner.
Healthier choice or tight Scot? I've never had vegan mayo.
Might need to go up the loft and get the winter coats down. A tad chilly out.

I’m not really a mayo ‘nut’.
The worst thing about my toasted cheese sandwich was that it was made with vegan ‘cheese’. I was preparing vegan burgers last night and had some vegan cheese left over.
It wasn’t cheese. I mean it looked like cheese … The pack said it melted perfectly but it melted perfectly into a sticky simulacram of cheese.
I say ‘worst’ but it wasn’t bad. It still increased my net happiness.

Gold foil panini for lunch. No swappsies. Are you Mayo bae rather than salt bae? Today was house jobs, taxi, then pub, ass vikings and booze now. Preparing for Monday correctly?

Existential dread and clinging on for dear life to the last few bits of expensive chocolate is preparing for Monday.

Imagine an existence where vegan cheese toastie with vegan mayo instead of butter increases ones net happiness.
Oh.
I might give it a try later, sounds alright.

What about cheese made from human milk (bitty)? Is that vegan?

Thoughts on cooked halloumi being used in a cheese and cheese toasty? May be the closet to veggie that can be done.
