Garage: We think you need new discs on the front, they're worn*, and a new O/S/F wheel bearing, total cost £397.
Mr T: Will this fix the problem?
Garage: We don't know.
Mr T: Have you pulled the O/S/R drum like I said and had a rummage?
Garage: No, we haven't.
Mr T: Well, I'd like it if you you did that.
Garage: Well, you say the noise is coming from the back and we say the noise is coming from the front, the best way to progress this is if you come around tomorrow and go for a drive with one of our mechanics.
Mr T: I'll see you tomorrow morning.
* Discs do not unwear, you fucking ASSHOLES.

I just got tomatoes today. What else has been added crop wise? I did my first house in the HHD as well. A reading room theme. My software usergroup was most excellent for switch action. We're having curry for dinner tonight. Besides tomatoes so far I have potatoes, carrots, and wheat. I believe there's also sugarcane, but I haven't come across that yet. My problem is that I'm usually playing too late at night. I need to find my own software usergroup. |

After the previous advice I considered telling the not-son the truth about Santa.
He is 44 with 5 kids so probably wouldn’t have the desired effect.

I survived Nursey's tender ministrations, although fish pie eating was deferred until late. Whilst eating said repast (I would give 5 years of my life*1 to be able to eat solid food, to chew properly but trying not to scream in hospital*2 destroyed my expensively preserved gnashers), I found this, which cheered me up no end: *1 A bit of a risky gamble as Bodger BoJo still being in power would make the purchase of decent ingredients unlikely *2 "Don't scream, Mr Chumbles, you're upsetting the other patients." The only way I could do that was to clench my teeth breaking over a dozen of them. And even before covid, dentists didn't go into hospitals. |
