The epic games store xmas free games have started. Shenmue III ATM. Something else in 8hrs. Don't delay, add to your backlog today!
You can add them from your phone. You don't need to boot up your laptop/rig.
Games. Shoved on GTA to look at the new Dr Dre dlc but was too tired.
TV. Last episode of dead to me and a trawl of the trailers of films/new TV on Apple TV. Didn't know about the new Wes Anderson. Might watch this weekend.

For those new to the game (or those who aren't aware). Get the Lover Stone as early as possible (15% increase on all skills). It's near Makarth (look it up). Be careful as there are bandits further along the road (near the house) and bears up the hill, stick closely to the rocks on the right hand side.
Get bound bow or bound weapons, these are eclipsed when you get better smithing perks. Early on they are great as you'll level up by conjuring them and they weigh nothing. You will need to invest in your magika though. Go mystic binding for more damage and automatic soul trap perk.
Even later on the bow will be useful in firefights as it hits hard and draws quickly.
The iron dagger smith cheat was patched years ago. Mine iron, get iron ore, transmute and make gold rings. You can also enchant these. Do this and you'll be increasing your skill in smithing, alteration, enchanting and speaking (when you sell them). If you don't have soul gems don't worry, just sell them. Gold rings offer the quickest way to increase your smithing.
I love the smell of a wall of text in the morning.

Morning all, (gibberish)I love the smell of a wall of text in the morning. I prefer coffee, but I can't drink any as an Amateur* Nursey is here in 40m. I am very much not looking forward to this as trying to watch what they are doing so that they don't screw up, whilst she is digging fingers into exposed nerves. Having the maximum doesn't help my concentration... * Coffee's a diuretic; and she's probably highly qualified, but my legs have mixed aetiology ulceration and require complex dressings. James: Age of Wonders 3, NP2, Diplomacy and a little Solasta, which I can actually play! |

Reddit has given me its “Reddit Recap” this morning, and claimed that one of my posts (just one) is “some quality internet content right there”.
I’m feel like they’re rubbing my recent lack of Sweet Content in my face…
TVblog: none! It was camera club…
Camerablog: an open competition, my most favourite of competition subjects*. I came away with two shiny 14s which, considering the lowest score was 13, was pretty darn shoddy. Completely knocked me back in the running-total.
WarHermitblog: I gave Blue Stuff moulding a try last night. Blue Stuff is a thermoplastic that goes all malleable in hot water, then sets when cool. I squished it over a heavy weapon; then jammed some Green Stuff (modelling putty) in the mould.
I’ve popped it out this morning, and I’m quite impressed. It’s retained a lot of detail.
*it isn’t.
