Hogmanay we'll be at the in-laws.
I went home today to get an Asda delivery but the pm is en-route to pick me up. Her sis and fam are off to Edinburgh today for new year to the other side of their family.
Had a quick run around in AC Valhalla while waiting on Asda.

I have never bought illegal substances of any sorts, but meeting up with my brother on public transport so that he could slip me a couple of clandestine LFTs is how I imagine drug deals are made. He only had an open pack with a couple of nose candytests left and 2 intact boxes of that saliva import* shit.
Today I decided against using up my last LFT. The fact that my mum hasn't been vaccinated at all had been my main concern and for a few days I was wearing my mask all day around the house and did daily tests, but after more than a week without symptoms the testing seems excessive.
I'm not allowed to do any of my mum's shopping. I can't even take the rubbish out because it means going down a staircase that's used by several parties. Fortunately a kind hearted neighbour has been doing some shopping to keep us alive. Theoretically she's not allowed to come in, but pfffft.
I've been amusing myself by taking apart and repairing two broken clocks and a reading light and I'm about to connect my Switch to the telly. My sister in law overdid it on the games as presents front again and got me Hollow Knight, Ni no Kuni 2, and Bravely Default 2 (with poster & stickers) for Christmas, but the fact that I can't go out has left me filled with ennui. At least the weather is suitably sh*te.

I once managed to get two copies of a book signed by Christopher Tolkien and Alan Lee when Waterstones were strictly limiting people to one copy. it felt very exciting. They are worth more than I paid for them. But I am not selling.

So cousin has given Rona to aunt, waiting to see if other family caught it Xmas day before seeing is boxing day. No one else gone yet though.
Three tomb raider games on epic for free.
Jeff TV has a few crime things complete now, mentalist, unforgivable, elementary are ones I've seen go up with full series unlike when they were up there before.

Been out visiting my folks and then some friends.
Then more Mass Effect this afters. Getting the hang of the weapons and upgrades. Had a nice shoot out in the creepy lap dance bar. Still early doors. Tali just joined my gang. I'm off to show the council the evidence against Saren. Me, Ashley and Tali. The dream team.
OTTM, I'm in a nice relaxed mood with no work. Get up late. Rustle up some brunch. Read for a bit. Potter about. All the pottering. I guess this is what retirement is like. Well Jell. Is it too early for beer?

We had bacon, sausage, fried egg, beans and toast for dinner. Was awesome.
I'm very tired. Woke at 4.15 and didn't get back to sleep till about 7.50 and then was up at half eight. 4 stars, Wouldn't recommend. At least it's not the Rona.
Not sure if I'll get a gaming window this evening.
I see the Daily Mail has a piece up about the folk who've now fucked off to Newcastle etc for Hogmanay from Scotland. They all seem to dislike Nicola. I'm shocked by that.
