Are we all trying to establish vowels first as per standard 'countdown' protocol? Wordle Strategy My analysis of the first 206 Wordles shows that the five most-used letters are: e - 108 r - 96 a - 89 o - 73 t - 67
It might make sense then to start with "Orate" as that contains all five of those letters once. However, for example, o has only been the first letter on 3 occasions, and is most often the second spot (33) or third spot (25).
If you want to maximise the chances of getting green letters on the first go, which is probably a riskier strategy, then "Brace" would be a good bet. b is the second most common first letter (20 times) after s (25 times). r, a and e are the commonest second, third and fifth letters respectively, and c is the second commonest forth letter (18 times in that position).
To quickly identify which vowels, although not necessarily their correct position, "Adieu" has four vowels (and d is the twelfth commonest letter, used 37 times, though only once as the second letter of a word). Wordle will not allow one to enter "Outie".
